Great fit!
Size: One Size Color: Fossil
I bought this for my husband on the advice of Wirecutter. They are so dependable and they got it right! My husband is a hiker and a sailor so he experiences heavy winds. He loves it! He has a large head and this is perfect for him because it is adjustable. It is lightweight and wicks away the sweat. The brim gives enough coverage to block the sun and because it is so durable he can stash it in his pocket or suitcase. I also love the fact that he does not look like an old man (just dad vibes). It is just the right shape. I highly recommend this hat! ... show more

Super lightweight and protective from sun
Size: One Size Color: Fossil
The Columbia Bora Bora Hat has quickly become one of my go-to accessories for outdoor adventures! Whether I’m hiking, fishing, or just out in the sun, this hat provides the perfect blend of comfort and protection. The lightweight, breathable fabric makes it super comfortable to wear for long periods. The Omni-Shade UPF 50 sun protection is a game changer, keeping me safe from harmful UV rays while I’m outside. Plus, the moisture-wicking sweatband is great for keeping my forehead dry, even on the hottest days. One of the best features is the adjustable chin strap, which ensures the hat stays on securely, even on windy days. The wide brim offers excellent shade, and the ventilation holes help keep my head cool and well-ventilated. Not only is it functional, but the hat also looks great and has a casual yet sporty style that matches with any outdoor outfit. The Columbia Bora Bora Hat is a must-have for anyone who spends time outside and wants both style and sun protection. ... show more

Nice sun hat
Size: One Size Color: Fossil
Nice hat, I like the "the one size fit all" design and the chin strap is a must on a windy day. May order another if it stays on sale (or goes back on sale).

very nice sun hat, easily fits a larger head, but not worth double the price of the competition
Size: One Size Color: Fossil
I also have a Tru-Spec boonie hat that I also like, but mostly use as a spare (stored in the car). TRU-SPEC Boonie, One Size, Khaki Compared to the Tru-Spec hat, this Columbia hat is more expensive, lighter weight (2.8 ounces vs 3.8 ounces), and more breathable. The Tru-Spec hat uses the same fabric throughout, while Columbia uses a lightweight, part-mesh fabric on the top (more breathable) and a stiff fabric for the brim (less likely to droop over my eyes). The Columbia hat has 3 inch brims (vs 2.5 inches for Tru-Spec) for more sun coverage, though perhaps a little more bulky and more likely to snag tree branches. Tru-Spec is a poly-cotton ripstop, while Columbia is all nylon. I have a larger head (size 7.5) and both hats fit me with plenty of room to spare. Both hats have a tightening cord in back, which works great. Both hats also have a chin strap, which is very handy in the wind. Minus one star because the price for the Columbia hat is now $28 (was $18 when I bought it). The Tru-Spec hat is only $12. While the Columbia hat is a little more breathable, it is certainly not twice as good as the Tru-Spec hat. ... show more

Great all around hat forsun or rain
Size: One Size Color: Black
Columbia sun hats are great they can be folded up and fit anywhere they don't fade from the Sun and they allow plenty of air flow in the heat I have three of them I carry one around in my motorcycle trunk and I keep one in my travel bag and one I wear most of the time I have a fairly large size head I wear a 3X helmet and a 7 and 7/8 hat and this fits just about right and it has a drawstring for adjustment ... show more

Good hat, but still need to wear sunscreen on face!
Size: One Size Color: Fossil
Wore this hat while backpacking the Camino for a month. The hat was good, stayed on really well and because it was so lightweight, it didn't feel like it was going to fly off even in really windy weather. Unfortunately, the bottom half of my face would still get sunburnt even if I wore the hat for the entire day. Even though I couldn't feel the sun, I would find sunburns from under my eyes to my chin if I forgot to reapply. But the hat itself was breathable and seemed to do well protecting my neck and the top hat of my face. I honestly would buy again, it was a decent hat and was perfect for putting in my backpack, it folded easily with no creases. Color was accurate and is adjustable around your head and under your chin, so it should fit pretty much anyone. ... show more

Great Hat!
Size: One Size Color: sage
Excellent hat! The first hat that kept my big head cool! I was outdoors all day, in the sun and it kept the sun off. Also, it looks like the company listened to the reviews as it was shipped in a box and kept its shape!
