Neighbor and I did this on both sides of chain link fence. It is zero visibility by doing it on both sides. He did his side and it was see through. I did mine and it’s as good as a wood fence. We were looking at a new fence for 6k. Since the chain link was already there and in solid condition, this was a 120$ option both ways. Very easy to install by one person. You have to stretch and care to make it smooth if that’s desirable as you tie it on. Pic is first 25 ft. It’s smooth and looks great from a few ft away. We have 75ft. Fence. So we bought one 25ft and one 50ft. The height of 5ft is exact. The length is longer then shown. Could be because we wanted it smooth. It’s about a ft. Longer then expected on both sections. Two ft longer than needed. That takes some thought and effort to double a section over/decide where you want you want the seams. I don’t know if making it look nice by pulling smooth or doubling it on both sides will make the product last less, etc. I live in the pacific NW and will repost after some time. ... show more

A little nervous to order this initially, however it was definitely worth it. I saw a review that said it was wrinkled, and it does come folded with straps around it but once unfolded and you start to hang it, just pull it very tight. I’ve had it up for about 4 days now and the wrinkles are completely gone. I ordered a second one to finish covering my fence (my dogs bark at the neighbors next door so I’m hoping this will help prevent that). Overall the mesh material is thick, not easy to see through at all except when the sun is shining right on it. Then it becomes easier to see through but still definitely does the job of covering/blocking view. ... show more

To start with the good - One of the shades was nice and square and went up without problem. It looks good and it keeps the small children next door from putting their hands in our yard to pet our dogs. Even though are dogs are sweet and well tempered I didn't like the potential for an incident. Also, our Husky has developed a digestive issue and last week we saw one of the kids feeding her, hoping this will eliminate that as well. High marks for the intended purpose. Now, the bad - As mentioned above one was nice and square. The other, not so much. The top of one of the screens is about 2' longer than the bottom, the grommets don't line up and it is saggy. The bottom is nice and tight but the top sags and has to be folded over to try to eliminate it. It will work but it looks tacky. ... show more
