The press is a good size and it heats quickly. Definitely some adjustment from the swing away style press I had previously. You have to be careful when putting a shirt all the way to the top as to not burn yourself. All my other presses have a constant beep to let you know the press was on and at temperature. This press does NOT beep when it reaches temperature and doesn’t have that reminder beep. It’s very easy to be caught up in work and forget to switch it off since there’s no beep. Love this machine! Making shirts on it it super easy. My only negative would be I wish there was more space between the top heat plate and the bottom. But I’ve learned (the hard way lol) how to work around that.

If you have large transfers that reach edge to edge, your transfers will not heat up completely on the very edges, and will not fully press to the garment. Other than that, this is an excellent machine, I just have to remember to order my transfers a tad bit smaller.

I have used many different heat presses over my years doing various printing and vinyl arts. I decided on this clamshell press for the price as it wouldn’t be my primary press. This press is fantastic. Easy to adjust, user friendly and didn’t even need to read a manual to adjust the time and temp.

Bought this after getting a cheaper one that was DOA. This one was larger and heavier. But it works great. I do think there may be something off on the temp sensor. When doing multiple shirts it took more presses each shirt to get the vinyl to transfer even though it said it was at temp.
