    • DO NOT MIX WITH OTHER BRANDS!
OK so I'm brand new to Colorwow products and there is a slight learning curve with how to use these. First thing I've noticed: this spray doesn't play well with others! When I got it in the mail yesterday, I was so eager to give it a shot. I forgot I already had a styling spray in my hair from another company, and when I sprayed this on, my hair immediately became dry and well...like a birds nest! No bueno. I came close to returning it on that alone but thought "No Amy, give it another try using JUST Colorwow products". And boy, am I glad I did! I combined this today with the XTRA Large Bombshell Volumizer and my hair looks amazing! Much more manageable and sexy, without the clumpy mess of what happened on my first try. For reference, my hair is VERY long, so the XTRA Large doesn't give as much "country music star" volume as the ads, but still has lots of body. The Style on Steroids gives it that extra pump. I like messy, piecey hair. And I don’t like having to touch it up during the day. WOW provides the hold and styling I like while not being sticky or shiny. I loved it when I had shoulder length hair and now with my short hair. It’s a godsend for this 68 year old’s hair!

    • Mixed emotions
This works great the day of. Adds texture, there is a bit of a grainy feeling. Goodish hold. However… do not go to bed with this in. Waking up the next morning, It’s like a rats nest. The texture is awful, it’s unworkable, it pulls, just no. So it works the days of, don’t recommend longer than that.

    • Makes hair like the 80's!
I have fine, thick hair. I love this spray. It gives my hair volume. It reminds me of the 80's. I found that if I used it half way through the day, then it repoofed my hair!

Ordered this product after using another WOW product with good results While this texturing spray made claims of being “super-malleable” and making curls “springier” and straightened hair “swingier” it did the exact opposite for me I followed the directions to a tee by using on dry hair, spraying under layers with my head upside down and taking through with my fingers I ended up with volume that shortly after fell flat Hair felt like I had sprayed cement into it It was “plastered” feeling and could no longer rake through with my fingers to fluff up let alone try to use a wide tooth untangling comb or vent brush for touch ups Unfortunately, this has turned me off to trying other WOW products. Due to being non-returnable I have now flushed almost $30 down the drain Not worth future risk in my opinion. Buyer beware! ... show more

Not really a fan. I mean it works. I just don’t like how it makes my hair feel. Very gritty. Makes it feel dirty after one use. Just not a fan unfortunately.

this really does give you instant volume it's crazy how well it works I have fine hair and I honestly don't spend a lot of time fixing it I basicly straighten it and go and this just adds some extra volume to make it look like I spent way more time and effort than I did
