The media could not be loaded. The outside of this notebook feels like hardcover leather. There was a small spot on the front of cover. No other noticeable defects, though. The pages are a good quality and even have page numbers at the bottom. There are two bookmark ribbons glued into the spine. There is also has an elastic band that can be used to hold the notebook closed. Although, this notebook didn't come with a pen, there is a spot to hold one. ... show more

This journal is beautiful and the pages are super sturdy. It also lays flat on both sides when writing which is hard to find. The pockets are useful as well.

As I get older...i tend to forget things! I tried using Field Notes to keep track of various things. I carried one for medical info, I had one for quick notes and a 3rd to keep info on different vendors I've used for family parties etc. Although Field Notes are small, carrying 3 was getting ridiculous. This leather journal is perfect. I am using post it notes to divide the journal into 3 sections. It's one of the smoothest paper I've ever written on and I'm pretty particular.
