I have a king bed with a new, very thick top mattress and box spring. My gorgeous old heirloom comforter didn't cover the mattress anymore. Well, well, what to do? I ordered two of these wrap ruffles. One is wrapped around the mattress, fairly high up, and it goes over the second one around the box spring. There is no more mattress/box spring showing, and my comforter looks perfect. Plus the effect of a double ruffle under the comforter is quite charming. I washed these in cold water as instructed and gently dried to take out the wrinkles from being in the package. The ruffles fall softly and look so pretty. The elastic seems pretty sturdy so far. Overall the product appears well made. I had tried another brand of wrap ruffle sold here on Amazon I had to return. It, too, was a queen/king, but there was not enough fabric to create a ruffle for a king; looked more like a straight edged sheet. This is perfect. The reason I bought it was because of the reviews that said the ruffles were too big for a queen. A ha! I found my perfect king wrap ruffle. From various reviews on this product and the other I bought, it's possible that this dual queen/king thing isn't working. So either the manufacturers start making them separately or consumers will have to pay close attention to the reviews to find what fits best. Good luck!

I would say this is the best wrap around elastic bed skirt I've ever purchased. Two of the previous bed skirts I bought from other places didn't last very long because the problem was with the elastic which eventually gave way. I taped and also tried stapling the worn out elastic, but that didn't work. In fact, my bed looked so horrible. I searched everywhere for bed skirts, and I finally found this one. I really like this bed skirt because it fits perfectly. The gathers and the spacing falls into place very nicely. Also, the length is just right. It's not too long where it's touching the floor. Nor is it too short. The rose color is so dainty, too. The most important thing that matters most is I know this bed skirt will last for a long time because it has an extra hole with a button attached to it should the elastic get worned out. Whoever thought of this idea is such a clever person, and I thank you so much for advertising this remarkable product! I would give this a 5+Star! I love this product and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for wrap around bed skirts!

This met my expectations and serves my purpose for now. It was so inexpensive I had to try it because it was difficult to find any bedskirt for a very lowprofile king sized bed. I liked that it can go on without having to remove my heavy Tempurpedic king mattress. I don't plan on taking it off very often to wash it, instead I will just use a drapery attachment on my vacuum cleaner to keep it clean. I bought the dark brown color to blend in with my brown headboard, and I only wanted this in order to hide the boxspring and metal tray platform. It went on fairly easily and I bought the twist pins to keep it secured to the boxspring. I knew the fabric would not be expensive else the price would be much higher. But that is why I gave it only a 3 rating. I like the design concept and I wish someone would knock it off in more upscale fabric. In any case, it is low to the floor so nobody really will notice it...and, best of all it makes my bed look more finished and I use high end bedding which draws your eye to the top of the bed not this skirt.

I got 2 of these, for queen beds, so the Queen/King size. I needed a mist or seafoam green (slightly bluish green, with a slight pastel hint) and a lilac (light true purple without obvious red or blue tones) and had looked everywhere online and in local stores for them, finding only white, navy, dark grey, brown, cream, and occasionally a turquoise. These bed skirts are perfect! Color is great, it's a slightly shiny light-weight fabric (but solid enough to stay in place), and is very easy for one person to put on, since it goes around the box spring and not under the mattress. It did sag slightly along the longer sides. I didn't adjust (tighten) the elastic strap at the top because that just stresses it and wears the elastic out faster, so I don't know if that would have prevented the sagging. Instead, after trying several different types of tacks, I found what seems to be the perfect solution: colored, 1-inch interior panelling nails. These are tiny nails designed to be invisible when inserted. I didn't try to nail them into the box spring's wooden frame (too hard to do with the tiny nails), but because there is a slight thread around the nail's shaft it grabs into the box-spring fabric and holds firmly in place. I used brown nails that I already had, and despite having a light-colored bed skirt, you don't see them at all.
