Only assembly is putting the wheels on. Opening the cart to put items in is easy, as well as closing it up. Good amount of storage space. The sides are a good height. Nothing spilled over or out of the cart, even when used on a ramp (it was a gentle slope ramp, think wheelchair access). Easy to steer, I prefer pulling.
