These were the perfect curtains to complete the look in my living room. I ordered another brand and they were the wrong color (yellow), so I sent them back and grabbed these. An actual golden brown. The velvet is soft and beautiful. The length is perfect and of course they come wrinkled but I took care of that with a hand steamer and voila! Flawless. I keep these open during the day but close them at night and they do a full blackout for us. However our windows are under a big tree so true black out may not be the case for everyone. ... show more

The color I ordered is the Gold Brown. It’s a nice deep mustard color. The color and the draperies give the bedroom a rich feel. The drapes were creased due to packaging. but have smoothed out with hanging. The room darkening aspect is exactly as described.

Good quality and has a rich golden, brassy color. The only complaint is that the wrinkles are stubborn. Still there after steaming. They give it kind of a crushed velvet look though. Perfect color for fall decorating!

Material is nice and heavy, very soft on the velvet side. The unforgiving Texas sun shines directly into my windows during some parts of the day and it does not seem to penetrate through the curtain as far as I can tell. They definitely make my room a couple degrees cooler when I have them closed during the day versus when I have them open. I would invest in a curtain attachment for your vacuum as they can accumulate a lot of unseen dust. Tldr; material is well made and heavy, decent light blocking, helps keep room slightly cooler during Texas summers, really pretty. ... show more

These are very nice, elegant curtains. I bought two sets for my room. One was sewn wrong - the place where the curtain rod goes was sewn too small. Rather than fix it, they just sewed a second line in it so that you could put the curtain rod there instead. It would not have taken very long to remove the hem and fix it… So they are uneven curtains, and one of the 4 curtains has an obvious and noticeable added strip of fabric. The odd one is also looser than the others. Oh well. I really need the room to be finished because my baby is due very soon, so I didn’t bother to return and just deal with it because its not the end of the world.. its just annoying because I spent good money on curtain rods and curtains for a nice room, would liked if they cared about quality. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Using these in my guest bedroom. They are beautiful in color and quality. They are velvet and does not look cheap at all for the price. I would recommend these if you are looking for affordable blackout curtains in size 108 inches. These are gorgeous!!!
