This desk is great once you get it installed, but be warned, that installation will be *BRUTAL* if you don't pay attention to the directions of the screw holes for a step or two. Don't be like me and absent mindedly do that, make sure you get it the first time for *everything* or you may have to take apart entire sections... Aside from the warning, now there's the good. This desk has tons of space. Seriously, I have everything I will ever need for a desk on one half. Two monitors, keyboard, laptop, random office supplies, my chargers, they're all there. The other side of my desk has honestly almost been used for decoration at this point but mostly for when I have any sort of paperwork and such. The storage decks are nice and out of the way enough for however much leg room you'll need and have a fair bit for whatever you wanna put there. If you're more into organizing than I am that'd probably be a great spot for the office stuff. This is a rather small feature they have on the smaller end, but they have a few hanging slots for what I'd assume would be cables or headphones? Don't know. I wouldn't recommend doing the same as me here, but I never installed the cross braces and the desk is completely fine. Pressure doesn't make it move at all. Very sturdy. Overall it's just a great desk, I love the look and functionality. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fairly inexpensive L desk.

Item is very comfortable to use. However, it is a little tight depending on your office chair. It has a lot of storage space, the drawers offer a considerable amount of room. They are also fabric, so there is no clinking of drawers when opening and closing. Reducing noise level. Additionally, the desk top is a bit smaller than pictured. I would not use a desktop computer, it would function best with lighter items, like laptops, MacBooks, etc. It is sturdy but I would not trust many heavy items on it. One last thing, the material it is made out of stains easily. Overall, it’s a great desk for the money. It’s ideal for students or to work from home as long as your job doesn’t require you to take up a lot of room with multi monitors, laptops, a keyboard, etc. because there isn’t room for it. Purchased for my 14yo. He’s been wanting & needing a new desk for a while and my ex recommended this one as he uses it while working from home. Son had a Walmart ‘student desk’ that could no longer accommodate his needs with a much larger monitor and gaming keyboard - he could barely move his mouse. This is only the 2nd piece of furniture my son has helped me assemble and we had a bit going on - including cats trying to eat styrofoam packaging - so it was slow going but that’s on us. We did have problems lining up the legs with the top but just pushed a bit on the legs & it worked out. Naturally, the teen also wanted to have more space & an even surface for his dual monitors but has now decided against putting the second monitor on this gigantic desk. lol Oh, I was warned that the top shelf prob wouldn’t accommodate the computer Tower O’ Power so we didn’t even attempt assembling that part. Pleased with sturdiness, dimensions, and quality, overall. Hopefully this desk lasts him a while. I’m also pleased with the price between the lightening deal & 20% off coupon I had, which made it cost less than the Walmart desk

Bought a new house, and needed to work from that house while doing fixup projects before moving in. Pros: It's a cheap desk. Good width, L-shaped. Exactly as described. Cons: 1. Not very deep. I got some 12x1 boards, some Ikea table legs, and some shelf brackets to "extend" the depth to hold additional equipment. 2. The veneer chips easily, exposing the plywood underneath, right where your arms are in contact with the edge while working on a laptop. That's not pleasant for your wrists and anterior forearms. I'll eventually disassemble this, toss the desktop laminate+plywood (keep the frame), and get some project boards from Lowes to rebuild this a bit more to my needs. But for the price I paid, it's held up pretty well over the year I've owned this.

I’ve been doing some early Christmas shopping. I’ve bought three different desks so far. Same style, just different set up for each of our preferred gaming tastes. I bought this one particularly for my boyfriend at his house. He picks me up Friday, and I’m like; “Babe, I got you something! You need it now, so here ya go.” We take the desk with us. We had to run a few errands before making it home, and we also both worked that day; so we start putting this thing together at ten o’clock at night. We’ve been together seven months, this is our first real “bonding project”, right? We are drinking Malibu. So me being the anxious person I am, I thought I was gonna get away with being able to just watch him do what he does best; that’s use his hands. BOY WAS I WRONG. THIS DESK COINCIDENTALLY COMES WITH TWO ALLEN WRENCHES. I’m sitting here thinking, “this company knew exactly what they were doing”; and I’m not sure if I love it; or if it made me wanna commit. I digress, we are slightly intoxicated; working hand and hand with each other. The instructions are wonderful. They’re super easy to understand. The only thing I didn’t care for was the order the instructions were in on the paper. There was a lot of bouncing around, but nonetheless, it was simple to do. WE HAD AN ABSOLUTE BLAST WORKING ON THIS TOGETHER. I’m so serious when I say that. The size I got (the largest one), fits plenty of stuff. The underneath is tall enough to slide things under, the mini fridge fit like a glove. The shelf for the computer is a nice size. I was worried that his wasn’t going to fit at first bc his computer case is really big and thick; but it fit and looks great. For us- the top is big enough for two large monitors, a PlayStation, a cooling fan, his Apple Watch/phone charger/stabs, both pairs of headphones, three remotes, a mouse, a large mic, and a decent sized keyboard; and there’s still room to decorate with pictures, or plushies, or really whatever suits your fancy. We got the color black, and it’s not the cheap ashy black gray; very happy with my purchase and the memories I was able to create.
