  • Great for bigger guys but VERY HEAVY!
Very easy to unfold and put away but because it is ment to hold up to 600lbs it is made of high gauge square steel tubes which = alot of weight. If you intend to rest on it for longer then a couple days its worth pulling out but if its only for a single night then u might want to look for an alternative. ... show more

  • Holds a lot of weight and is heavy but it works for camping a few days.
This thing is big and only a big tent with space to spare can accommodate it. I'm 5' 10" and 220 lbs, slightly chubby. I ended up sleeping on this for weeks after I moved and delayed getting an actual bed and it worked for me. The fabric did begin to sag a little from the nightly weight as ANY & ALL fabric cots would. Over time I found that I had to lay with the small of my back over the middle legs to keep from feeling the legs with my hips where they slope up to the top frame. I think this effect limits how comfortable a really big and wide heavy person will feel. But for camping or company for a few days they ought to be okay. Big-n-Tall is relative. Someone 6'2" or 3" would fit but if you're 6'6" I don't think you'll be happy. Oh, maybe a lanky teenager wouldn't care. ... show more

  • End bar snags on seams
The loop through which one of the end bars must pass is sewn very narrowly, such that the end bar only passes beyond the seams at the terminus of that loop with some exertion. Worse, the cut-out near the end of the bar (into which the nub from the main assembly must be inserted) snags firmly on that seam, threatening to tear the seam if pushed. I was able to work around this by inserting two butter knives at 90 degree angles to each other between the fabric and the bar, adjacent to the sides of the bar into which the cut-out was made. This allowed the cut-out to slide past the seam without snagging. This problem could have been avoided if the loop had not been sewn so narrowly. Better bring two butter knives with you when you go camping. Other than that complaint, the cot is sturdy and comfortable and accommodates my 6'2" 270 lb. body. It is heavier than smaller cots, but the weight is manageable for a man of my size and strength. ... show more

  • High quality for a Big Guy
Used it on a week long elk hunting trip. Im 6’6” and 320 pounds. It is very well built and I never worried about it breaking while using it. It does rock back and forth a little bit while using it, but it is very strong. It was nice to find this cot as most things are not built for bigger folks.

  • Not sturdy
I just got done sleeping on this cot for 5 days. It is larger than my other one, but it’s sooo heavy and when you sit down it moves back and forth. It does not feel sturdy…BUT it is very easy to put together

  • Perfect for a big guy
I'm 6'3" and this cot is perfect for me. Other reviewers aren't wrong when they say its heavy but its a beast. Plus if you're backpack camping you're most likely not using a cot anyway. It does have a little bit of a sway but when you're laying/sleeping it doesn't move.

  • Good Camping Cot
I'm a bigger guy and this served its purpose well, but a few things to note. 1. It is VERY heavy. Required the help of someone else to unfold it outside of my tent and then carry in. Can be done by one person, but much easier with two. It is almost too cumbersome to move around, set up, and put away by yourself. However, the weight makes the overall product extremely sturdy. 2. Get some sort of sleeping mat or blanket to put down. I used this in a tent in ~50 degree weather and the cold air definitely circulates underneath it, even with a sleeping bag rated for negative temperatures you can feel cold air underneath you due to the material the cot is made out of. ... show more

  • Coleman Big & Tall Cot.
Very sturdy, quick and easy to set up. Roller bag a plus because this dude is heavy at 51 pounds. This steel frame cot should last for years while providing good sleep support. Height makes it easy to get on and off with ample storage room below.
