Description

Ever since their release back in 2006, our Brooklyn Series of Baseball Bats have been consistent fan favorites! Precision injection molded out of the heaviest-grade high-impact polypropylene that we can find, they are not only stronger than most traditional bats, but they are more durable too! These unimaginably strong Bats won’t rot, crack, or splinter or even fade! You needn't worry about dirt affecting them either, since they’re almost impervious to the elements and clean up with little more than soap and water. Perfect for school or league games, they can be used as game bats, practice and warm-up bats or even serve as crossover trainers to develop strength and hand/eye coordination for those studying Martial Arts. From our micro sized Souvenir Bat (the Brooklyn Shorty) to our epic over-sized Whopper, and all of the other models in between, we’re sure to have the bat for you!

    • Heavy and strong
Style: Sport Bat
Quality feels very good. The grip is great. It feels super sturdy and heavy when you swing it it could probably break walls size matches as described suitable for playing baseball or more.

    • part of my home defense along with my cans of wasp spray
Style: Sport Bat
I got this for home defense and chose this bat for it's durablitly coupled with it's light weight. It feels like it is a quality made bat that will not break and has a non slip grip feel to it. I am older and wanted the longer bat and I do like it's length and now am thinking about other shorter bats in this same brand ... show more

    • Solid defense
Style: Sport Bat
Review Image by Ashley
I bought this after watching a zombie movie. I am an Ash and the whole thing made sense, especially since I love a good dystopian book. My husband has fully adopted this as his primary defense. We have multiple defensive options and this is his favorite. It is heavy.

    • Too big and heavy for self defense.
Style: Sport Bat
I like this bat overall. It's very solid, and I believe it's pretty much indestructable. I guess most people are like me and have this around for home protection. I think for this purpose, the bat is too big and heavy. It's just a bit too long and heavy. I'm 6/1 190 and I can tell you that if you make a swing it's one or nothing. Such a heavy bat is difficult to recover for a second swing. It's also a bit too long. In a doorway, hall, etc you're really likely to hit a wall or furniture, if there is room for a swing at all. My wife and kid, who I got this for, find the bat too large and heave for a good swing. I'll keep it for light warm up swings for softball, but I've ordered the shorter 29 inch version for home defense. ... show more

    • Another homerun for Cold Steel!
Style: Sport Bat
Am writing this review after 10+ years of ownership of one. I think this is an excellent product, find it more durable than a regular baseball bat. While I have hit a few baseballs at a batting cage with it, I mainly keep it by my bedside side in case there are any unexpected bumps in the night. Depending on your needs, you may want to opt for one of the shorter variations, but whatever the size, I would expect it to live up to the Cold Steel name. Would recommend this product. ... show more

    • It's a beast
Style: Sport Bat
I like this as much as I like my firearms collection. It's a heavy sucker, but it is the right length. The surface has a texture that allows for a better grip, but a little batter's tape could also be used. It's Cold Steel, so I know the quality is there. I slapped a "townie" sticker on it, plus another from Fenway Pahhhk, and it sits on the nightstand ready to protect the homestead. ... show more

    • Perfect warm-up tool
Style: Sport Bat
I have used this bat for stretch and light rehab. I am 50 have enjoyed having a bat again. I'm not hitting yet, but I'm getting back in shape. This bat feels indestructible as described. I think it is perfect for a workout warm-up and stretching. I'm really impressed. The handle is a thicker profile than normal so my hands also get exercise. If I hit with this, batting gloves will be a must. Written by a real man, not a paid fan. ... show more

    • chosen street weapon of war for the roaring twenties
Style: Sport Bat
Roaring twenties are back and we all need a baseball bat. So, yes, this thing is really, really heavy. I weigh about as much as a feather on a good day and it has nearly knocked my shoulder out of joint several times. But, with some grip-tape added to the handle, this thing packs a wallop, is somewhat manageable, and I love it. Living around a city, which has taken on a new meaning in 2020 and 2021, it just pays to be vigilant and this really is a street weapon of war. Can't imagine someone recovering from any type of hit from this direct or not. Feel safer with it in the car (for an emergency game of baseball obviously), or just in the house. It isn't going to stop an attacker with a gun, but if someone is threatening you in close range this will keep them back... I assume, unless they've never seen a baseball bat before. Which poses other questions/problems. Also, if you aren't purposely trying to break this thing in half (which people in the reviews seem to be in some sort of weird competition over) it most likely will survive. I encourage people to purchase this and just see what the fuss is about. You won't be sorry. ... show more
