  • Advanced Light Technology for Healing: The CureBio cold sore wand is meticulously crafted, incorporating cutting-edge LED light therapy advancements. It harnesses scientifically supported wavelengths across a wide spectrum of therapeutic light. Each of the five light diodes delivers intensified irradiance, enhancing its overall effectiveness.
  • Portable Healing Solution: Our cutting-edge red light therapy device, constructed from durable yet lightweight steel, is purposefully designed for on-the-go use. Whether youre on a business trip or enjoying a quick getaway, you can conveniently maintain your personalized light therapy regimen.
  • Focused Treatment: Utilizing the precision attachment tip, you can target smaller areas like the mouth, nose, ears, or lips to effectively combat cold or canker sores. For larger body areas, simply unscrew the precision attachment. Our quick start guide provides a helpful diagram illustrating this straightforward process.
  • Scientifically Supported: The red and infrared LED therapy torch emits three highly effective ranges of light wavelengths, offering a comprehensive and synergistic treatment. Each wavelength penetrates to varying depths - blue light for surface-level treatment, red light for subcutaneous therapy, and near-infrared light for deeper muscle healing.
  • User Friendly Control: The blue light therapy device operates seamlessly with a single button. Multiple presses cycle through various wavelength modes; first press for combination treatment mode, emitting all three wavelengths; second press for red and infrared mode; third press for blue light output; one final press turns off the device. For gentler treatment, hold the button for three seconds to activate a pulsing output.

  • Great product, great value…
Color: Gray
Great product at great price and matching level of customer service. In the last 2+ years this is the third device I bought… other two I gave to my relatives and they are very happy as well. When my original Luminancecare unit broke, I tried several other brands and was skeptical at the time of initial purchase. But the quality of the device, versatility, and performance matched it and my expectations and the price delta just became the icing on the cake… ... show more

  • Strong possibilities for this little device
Color: Gray
The Curebio Cold Sore Red Light Therapy Wand turned out to be far more versatile than I initially expected. While it’s marketed primarily for cold sores, it functions as a broader at-home light therapy tool with multiple use cases and a surprisingly complete kit right out of the box. Setup & First Impressions The device arrives with everything you need to get started immediately. It includes a USB-C to USB-C charging cable, a high-output wall adapter, protective glasses, and clear instructions. Charging is quick, and the four small indicator lights near the port make it easy to track battery status at a glance. The overall build feels solid but lightweight, making it comfortable to hold and maneuver during use. Ease of Use & Controls Operation is straightforward. A quick press of the power button turns it on, and you can cycle through the different light modes without any complicated setup. There are three primary light options, which appear as blue, red, and a combined violet tone. The included guide explains which mode is best suited for different applications, which is helpful if you’re new to light therapy. Light Modes & Functionality The blue light is intended for more surface-level concerns like cold sores or similar skin issues, while the red light is designed to penetrate deeper for things like inflammation, stiffness, or general recovery. Being able to switch between modes, or use a combination, adds a lot of flexibility depending on what you’re targeting. The precision tip attachment is a standout feature. It screws on easily and helps focus the light onto smaller, more specific areas. Without the tip, the wand can be used over broader areas of the body, making it useful beyond just facial treatments. Performance & Experience The light output is very strong, strong enough that the included protective glasses are not just a bonus but genuinely necessary. Treatments are short, typically just a few minutes, and easy to fit into a daily routine. The device is designed to be held close to the skin, and while the manual mentions allowing it to cool between sessions, it doesn’t seem to generate excessive heat during typical use. During use, there’s a subtle sensation, almost a light tingling, which gives the impression that the device is actively working. While results will vary depending on the application and consistency of use, it feels like a functional and purposeful tool rather than a gimmick. Versatility Despite the name, this isn’t limited to cold sores. With the precision tip, it can be used in smaller, targeted areas, while the full wand works well for broader treatment zones. The manual outlines a range of potential uses, including general skin care, minor inflammation, and even applications for pets. That versatility makes it more valuable than a single-purpose device. Portability & Practicality Its compact size makes it easy to store or travel with, and since it doesn’t require any complicated setup, it’s convenient to use whenever needed. It’s the kind of device you can keep on hand and incorporate into your routine without much effort. Final Thoughts This is a well-designed, easy-to-use light therapy tool that offers more flexibility than its name suggests. It combines multiple treatment options into a single compact device and feels thoughtfully built for everyday use. If you’re looking for an accessible way to try at-home light therapy for a variety of minor concerns, this is a solid and convenient option. ... show more

  • Promising cold sore device that worked better than expected
Color: Gray
This cold sore device has been more helpful than I expected. I was honestly pretty doubtful at first, but it does seem to help reduce the pain, redness, and size of a cold sore. It is not an instant fix, but it made enough of a difference for me to feel like it is worth using. The device has multiple light modes, and the instructions are clear and detailed. I like that it includes a dosage chart based on the amount of pain and redness, so you have some guidance on which mode to use and for how long. It also comes with protective glasses for your eyes, which is important when using a light-based device. The size is convenient too. It is small enough to keep in a bathroom drawer or cabinet and pull out when needed. It also includes the charger, so everything you need is there. This can be used for cold sores or blemishes, and it seems best suited for smaller areas like the face, lips, or nose. Overall, it feels like a good quality device and has been surprisingly promising. It worked better than I expected and is easy to keep on hand for flare-ups or small trouble spots. ... show more

  • One Device With Multiple Purposes
Color: Gray
This Cold Sore Therapy Wand from CureBio can do more than just bring relief due to the pain of cold sores. It's a red light therapy device that can assist with muscle or joint inflammation issues and promote healthy skin improvements among other things. Red light works by increasing the production of mitochondria which is the cells' energy sources. By increasing the energy source it improves cell function and repair giving it the healing aspect red light therapy is known for. It also has a blue light therapy feature which has shown to be effective in the treatment of acne as it targets bacteria in the skin susceptible to blue light destruction which in turn reduces skin inflammation leading to less acne breakouts when used as part of a regular skin care treatment regimen. Blue light therapy involves no use of ultraviolet (UV) light making it typically safe for general use on all skin types. This device from CureBio is the home care version of the same procedure and treatment one may receive at their dermatologist office for various skin conditions. First of all, take the time to familiarize yourself with this wand and it's functions before initial use. Read through the manual to help you get a sense of how this works. It's not a toy and not something you want to go in blindly using if you never used a therapy device like this before. It comes with everything needed to get started on your therapy journey including a USB-c charging cable with wall plug adapter. The plug adapter will be needed if there aren't any devices in the home with which to plug this in to directly for charging. I do wish one end of the charging cable had a USB-A input to make it more universal, especially for on-the-go use, but the wall plug adapter more than takes care of any compatibility issues. It doesn't take long for the wand to charge for use which is a good thing. Additionally there's a precision wand tip attachment included which is a nice accessory that allows specific targeting of the face and body for a more focused therapeutic session. Finally there's a pair of safety glasses included to protect the eyes from the brightness of the LED diodes used in the device. While the glasses are tinted they aren't overly dark in my opinion. I don't know if these glasses were designed to be used exclusively with this product or if they are just a run-of-the-mill basic style of sunglasses, however they do a well enough job shielding the eyes from the bright light of this device. Whether you use the supplied glasses or your own, you do not want to use this device without proper eye protection - particularly if using this around the face. I have a pair of glasses from the last solar eclipse a couple years back, which looks similar to the glasses included in this kit, that I use. They are super-super dark and eliminates all bright light which is perfect in the event this gets accidentally shined in the eyes. It's a powerful device that lasts only a couple minutes between treatments and then auto powers off to prevent injury or perhaps over use. The manual does recommend if using in multiple sessions to allow time between each session but no more than a few hours in between if using multiple times in a day. This isn't a device that gives a placebo effect of making one believe it works, it actually works. From the moment it's turned on and applied to the area being treated a weird sensation is really felt. It kind of reminds me of the sensation I get when one of my limbs start to wake up from sitting or laying the wrong way but much more subdued. I haven't used this as a cold sore device but as far as joint pain and muscle aches (which I experience a lot) it's more than proved it's worth. It's my go to whenever my shoulder starts to act up and seems to work much better than the lidocaine sprays and patches I use to try to alleviate the pain. It's not a miracle worker but does seem to help the healing time come down a lot faster outside of popping prescribed or over-the-counter pain medication which I try not to ingest too much of into my body. Overall it's a great little multi-purpose therapeutic device. It feels of high quality and heavy duty in size. It's small footprint is perfect for travel and on-the-go sessions when needed. While the packaging states this was manufactured for US and EU usage, this is a product that's made in China for full disclosure. The CureBio website is a great resource to learn more about this company and the additional light-based therapeutic devices on offer. I've been thoroughly impressed with my usage thus far and score this a 4.95 out of 5.0 for a 5 star rating. ... show more

  • Useful For More Than Just Cold Sores
Color: Gray
The Curebio Cold Sore Red Light Therapy Wand with Blue and Infrared Wavelengths comes with a 57.5" Type C-Type C USB charging cable and a high power 5V/3A Type C USB wall charger. Four small white lights next to the USB charging port blink to indicate charging status. The wand charged very quickly. Also included is a Quick Start Guide, an easy to read User Manual, and a pair of dark protective eyeglasses. The glasses are a bit tight on my large head, but at least I don't have to worry about them slipping while using the light. The Power button turns on with a quick press. No sustained push is required. There are 3 light combinations that can be selected in sequence that look violet, red, and blue. A treatment mode chart in the manual explains which light combination to choose for different treatments. For instance, the blue light works best for cold sores and ear or nasal infections. A precision tip extension screws onto the wand to direct and focus the light. The light is extremely bright, so the glasses are very much appreciated and needed. A treatment lasts 1-3 minutes with the light held about 1/2" from the skin. The manual states the tip needs time to cool down after a treatment, although I didn't feel it getting warm using just the blue light. The name of the therapy wand seems to indicate it is only for cold sores, but the user manual states it can also be used inside the ears, nose or mouth using the precision tip. Without the tip, the wand can be used almost anywhere on the body for pain relief, joint stiffness, to reduce inflammation, or even to break down scar tissue. It can also be used on pets to assist with wound healing and pain relief. It cannot be used around or on the eyes, or on cancerous lesions or tumors. Although I ordered this mainly to help with canker sores, I used the blue light on a biopsy scar on my shoulder and could feel a tingling sensation after a couple of minutes. That reaction leads me to believe this actually could help with repeated treatments. ... show more

  • Simple to use and seems to make a difference
Color: Gray
I picked this up to help with occasional cold sores, and it’s been pretty solid so far. The device actually feels decent in hand—not cheap—and it’s small enough to keep on a desk or toss in a drawer without it getting in the way. Using it is simple. You just hold it over the area for a few minutes at a time. The light isn’t too harsh and it doesn’t really heat up, which I was a bit worried about. I also like that it uses a mix of red, blue, and infrared light instead of just one type. As for results, it seems to help the most if I start using it early. It’s not a miracle cure, but flare-ups don’t seem to last as long, and they’re less irritating compared to just leaving them alone. The only downside is you have to stay consistent with it to really notice a difference, and it’s a little pricey for what it is. Still, if you deal with cold sores regularly, it’s a useful thing to have and does what it’s supposed to. ... show more

  • Feels fancy
Color: Gray
Been using this product a little over a week (9 days). I’ve been using it on this fresher scratch I have on my chest in hopes of it aiding in healing it. I have a history of scars not healing properly, but this one is in a very vulnerable/noticeable place. I’m trying everything I can for it to bounce back to how it was before. It has three modes and each one can be looked at like a different “strength”. This particular product doesn’t recommend doing it longer than 1 or 2 mins (depending on the setting) a few times a day no closer than 5 hours apart. It automatically turns off after 3 mins. I don’t know what would happen if you deviated from this suggestion, but I recommend everyone to read the manual. In light of that, it does start to get warm after a minute and a few seconds. Not too bad but I could imagine that’s one reason why they say not to use it any longer. It is a handheld device. I posted the before and “after” / 9 days later. I’m not sure if it’s due to this product or if my other methods are helping as well. It’s not properly healed but it is getting better. ... show more

  • Promising Light Therapy Wand With a Convenient Design
Color: Gray
This light therapy wand makes a good first impression. It feels easy to handle, the design is straightforward, and I like that it’s compact enough to use on targeted areas around the lips and face. The combination of red, blue, and infrared light makes it seem like a versatile little skincare tool to keep on hand. I haven’t had a chance to test it on an active cold sore yet, so I can’t speak to how well it works for that. So far, though, it seems well made and easy to use, and it looks like a promising device for targeted light therapy. Pros Compact and easy to handle Simple, targeted design Versatile light combination Makes a good first impression Cons Too early to judge effectiveness without testing it on an active cold sore Summary This seems like a promising light therapy wand with a convenient design and easy handling. I have not yet tested it on an actual cold sore, so I can’t comment on results, but as a first impression it seems well made and easy to use.
