A few key features of the Aorda Slow Juicer are: 1.) It comes with both a Juice Cup and Pomace (waste) cup, which many lower priced models do not include. They are both decent sized and will provide you with about two cups of juice before you have to clean them out. 2.) The main body, juicing bowl and strainers all have red dots that show you the correct alignment when putting the machine together. The red dots are very noticeable and make putting everything back in to place after cleaning a breeze. 3.) The hopper is a good size, not tiny like many other cheaper models. You can fit quite a bit of fruit or vegetables in at one time. The only limitation is the size of the hole in the feeding cover (more on that below). 4.) The motor and speed are both adequate for making a couple of cups of juice in a short amount of time. I tested with carrots and apples, both of which can be a little harder for a machine to process, but it handled both well and produced a couple of cups of juice pretty quickly. There are a few things about the juicer that I think could have been better: 1.) Overall, the plastic parts (which is almost everything but the motor housing), seemed a bit cheap. I would definitely recommend hand washing, as I do not think the plastic would hold up well in the dishwasher. I also have some concerns that the small plastic tabs that click together when attaching the pieces may fail sooner rather than later. 2.) The hole in the feeding cover is a little smaller than I would prefer. I had to cut a medium sized apple into 8 pieces to fit it through the hole. Lemons had to be cut in half. Still better than many models that require you to cut everything into small pieces, but it would be nice if you didn’t have quite such a small hole to fit everything through, given that the hopper is fairly large. 3.) The biggest design flaw in this unit is the random piece of plastic that hangs down the inner side of the feeding tube. It’s several inches long and kind of scoops into the hopper when you open the feeding cover. I’m sure there is a reason for this, but in my experience it was just a nuisance. At one point the carrots I had added got jammed up and even the pusher could not clear the jam. While I needed to be able to open the feeding cover to pull out a few carrots, this piece of plastic prevented me from being able to open the door since the feeding tube was full. Instead, I had to squeeze my fingers into the hole and try to move the food out of the way. In my opinion it would be much better if you could remove this prior to using. 4.) Another flaw is the rubber stopper at the entrance to the Pomace outlet. In other models I have used, this rubber stopper is removable for thorough washing. In this unit however, it is fixed and allows for food to be trapped in around the stopper. Overall, I would say this is a good juicer for the price. Compared to my Nama J2 (high end juicer), this one is not as easy to clean and produced about 85% of the juice that the Nama does. That being said, the Nama is over $500, so this one is much cheaper and does a pretty good job of juicing.

The hardest part about using this juicer, was prepping the produce. I added multiple veggies and fruits, and it pressed out the juice with no effort on my part. It came with two cups. I used one to drain the juice into, and one to drain the pulp into. I was very quiet, and fast. I found it easy to clean, the cleaning tool included helped in the clean up process. I love the size, it fits perfectly on my counter, not taking up too much space. This is the perfect juicer if you are looking to get into juicing!

I'm satisfied with this juicer. It is smaller than I was expecting. Other than the size, I'm enjoying everything about this juicer. It's user-friendly, and not intimidating at all. It's quite quiet during use. It's easy to clean after use. I love that you don't have to slice and cut up the fruit beforehand. A lot of juice was captured during the juicing process, which is a HUGE plus. The juicer is well made and sturdy. I'm hoping to have this juicer around for a long time. I'm really excited about this product. 4 out of 5 stars.

The media could not be loaded. I've tried multiple juicers and find the masticating juicer has a better taste overall. I combined juices of orange, pineapple, mango, apple, and grapefruit. I recommend removing the peel unless you enjoy the bitter taste in your juice. The masticating method definitely has a thicker juice than the centrifugal juicer I've used, more like a smoothie. I really liked that there was ZERO foaming from the apple. It was MUCH quieter than the centrifugal juicer as well. This machine sits beautifully on the counter and has a small footprint for what it is. Perfect for regular use. Cleaning was easier than my centrifugal juicer. Pieces simply twist off. However, the inner grate required some extra effort to remove fruit remnants. The machine feels quality and sturdy. I didn't detect any struggle with any of the fruit I juiced. Overall, I think it's a great little machine and juicer! Recommended.
