Makes the car sound great but it didn't come with enough heat shield rubber but its alright, it was very easy to intall all i needed was to look at the picture then i was set.

I just installed this CAI kit on my 2014 Toyota Corolla and here are some thoughts I have on it. Fit & Compatibility: Right out of the box, everything aligned well. The intake tube and heat shield lined up great without needing to force anything. Ease of installation: I am fairly confident with DIY work, and I assume most people looking to buy a cold air intake will be as well. It took me about an hour to get everything installed. That was me taking my time with it. I'm sure you could cut that time in half pretty easily. It took nothing but simple hand tools. No instructions included but they'd be mostly unnecessary. If you need help, you can look up almost any CAI installation guide to get a rough idea what to do. Quality of Materials: The tubing feels like it's made of decent quality aluminum and the power coating gives it a simple, subtle but nice look at a glance. The heat shield is solid, not just some flimsy sheet metal. Clamps are thin and cheap. The filter is a washable, oiled cotton filter. I can't really speak on quality of it. It seems fine enough but I plan on replacing it with something else. Throttle Response & Power Gains: I am not going to dyno my corolla so this is all just from "feel." I feel like I notice a crisper throttle response but that could easily be in my head. It feels like the engine is more willing to rev when pushing the pedal, reducing some of that lag. Any power gains is not very noticeable, which I expected, but I want to say I can feel a bit more pep especially in the 30-60mph acceleration range. I'd say if there were any gains, it would be 1-3% and I guess that's better than nothing. Obviously that is strictly an estimate. This isn't really throttle response, or power, related but it certainly sounds better now. Size & Clearance: The intake a bit larger than factory but not so big that you'll have clearance issues with it. There is still plenty of room to access any hoses and wiring. The heat shield will add some bulk in the corner of the engine bay. So, overall, I am pretty happy with it. I went back and forth on what to rate it but ultimately decided 4/5 stars is a good rating for it. It's a relatively easy upgrade that, at the very least, will give your car a better sound and may give some tiny performance boost. You won't turn your corolla into a sports car but it might liven up the driving a bit. I'll be replacing the filter and clamps with something I find to be higher quality.

Works as well as others costing 3 times more. Only issue was no installation instructions. Found installation on YouTube though. One bracket I had no idea how to use so I didn't. Overall good value
