I bought a tumbler exactly like this one 3 years ago at the Lancaster CA 99 cent store for $5. Except it was made by Buffalo or Eagle or some company named after an animal (had a slight print of the animal on the lid). Looked for that same one online since it has done well and still is. This one looks exactly like it, it is same height, width which was had to find to fit under my KCup maker-other tumblers with this many ounces are too tall and narrow. Big problem with this one-the little cut away made for "a straw" and the plastic on the lid is thinner than my other, older one. So it started to crack within a week from the straw cutout to middle of top and is cracked from mouth cutout to outside. I had wash it always and have my other one too but it is still going strong (thicker). Also this one when on a table does not sit exactly flat so rocks a bit, not enough to spill, but worries me sometimes. Older one I have sits flat. I love the size though. Good for one big cup in the morning and keeps coffee warm for a good amount of time. If anyone knows the other brand, let me know. ... show more

First off I only use this for coffee so I don't have any experience with cold drinks. Works good for coffee, keeps warm for quite awhile. A very light texture makes it a little more grippable which is good because it segways into my only real con. Did not realize how big around this was. I can barely pick it up with one hand. For a travel mug its not as great due to the lid which isnt spillproof, and the size of the cup. But it keeps coffee hot for hours which i love ... show more

Really pleased with it. Filled it ice and my beverage of choice and headed out on a hot day to run errands. 5 hours later I came home with a tumbler still filled with a good amount of ice and a still cold drink! This is my favorite tumbler. I lost the lid but I still use it, and even without the lid it keeps the ice from melting. I should probably buy another one because I use this cup almost exclusively.
