I have been using this espresso tamper for the last month and I love it! It is great for applying an even pressure on the espresso and pressing it into a compact puck. It fits my 51mm portafilter perfectly. I like that I can control the depth of the tamp as well, even though I am a beginner and don't 100% understand what that means for the quality of the shot pull! I also love that it comes with a rubber mat to set it on between uses which keeps the tamp in good condition. Overall, would recommend!

I’m a novice at making true espressos, rather than using capsules. When looking for an Espresso Tamper, I thought the marked gradations on this one would help me. I am truly impressed by the quality of the craftsmanship on this set. It was easy enough for me to figure out, and has worked very well for me. It looks great, and has a nice heft to it without being too heavy. It’s a bit more expensive that other options, but I feel it is worth the investment.

I recently got a Moka pot and saw coffee stirrers like this on many YouTube videos. This works very well to stir up the grounds. Simple, but effective. For the Moka pot you don't tamp down the coffee, but leave it loose. I did not try the tamper, but it appears well made. I definitely recommend this tool set for making espresso and Moka coffees.
