This exhaust system is outstanding in quality and sound! The Chrome is smooth as a mirror and looks to be high quality. The only thing that I didn’t really like is the hose clamp type fasteners to attach the heat shielding. They scratch the chrome on the actual exhaust. The scratches are covered from view from the heat shielding but scratches from my experience leads to areas that rust. Very nice pipes! I like the Cobra brand. This is my second set of Cobra pipes. Installation was not too difficult. However, the bracket and clamps come into contact with each other. I could not install the clamps exactly as shown in the instructions but close enough to work. The bracket could be redesigned to allow an easier fit. ... show more

If you want to unleash the full power of a Shadow 600cc, I would fully recommend these pipes to anyone. They are throaty, and provide a deep full tone that this bike never had before. The installation was also a piece of cake, and fit on perfect. Mine also has a K&N filter, with a Sigma 6 re-jet kit installed. Probably one of the best aftermarket pipes I've ever heard on a bike, can't say how much I love these Cobra pipes. ... show more
