LOW PROFILE DESIGN A low profile, cavity back design with greater lofts will help golfers launch it higher and longer, effortlessly. LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN Using a lighter head, shaft (48g) and grip (41g) makes the club feel significantly lighter and easier to swing compared to a traditional iron. Hybrids: The AIR-X hybrid features a lightweight design to promote a great feel and effortless speed for the smoothest swing tempos. Both hybrid headcovers came preset for #5 - it is easy to open one with sharp end of tee and reset to #6 (turn disk over and rotate to show #6 and close). So one critical review (3 out of 5 stars) answered. The one star review really makes no sense, he stated clubs were "cool". Indeed very lightweight, but forgiving 5-6H, 7-GW. Ball flight is straight and high, stops quickly. I feel lost distance relative to my older irons. So a compromise between distance and accuracy changing from heavier heads, steel regular shafts to senior graphite lightweight heads. It will take a while to work these into my set, they still feel "short" at address (although length normal). This set pointed out I rely on my steel shafted wedges and 7 iron a lot. ***** UPDATED ***** They really perform well, just changed a bit how I play - looking forward to more use. I had to wait a bit to use them but Damn !! I've gained a minimum of 20 yards per iron and the quality , feel and look of these blow my old clubs away .. im even hitting the ball strainer.. BTW my old clubs were bought cheap but were not a bad set .

I was worried that they would be too light, as they are much lighter than my previous set of irons, but they felt great and have a very solid and effortless impact on the ball. They are very forgiving, especially the hybrids. All my mis-hits with the hybrids still put the ball near the green; it is uncanny. I bought the graphite shafts. ... show more

I'm not the best golfer, but I wanted a really nice set of clubs just because I'd been playing with my other clubs for years. The first thing I noticed is that my driving distances are greater and I am also using more of the different clubs because I now have more confidence in them, and it has paid off. I am consistantly taking a few strokes off my game. I am still an average at best golfer, but it has made it more fun to play, and that's what I was hoping for. ... show more
