  • Finally starting to have fun consistently
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Graphite Flex: Regular Configuration: 4H, 5-PW
Easiest to hit and most forgiving clubs I’ve ever played with. I’m only 49 and pretty strong in my opinion but apparently not strong enough to swing the heavier steel shafts on most beginners sets. Before I bought these my max distance on a 7 iron was between 130-140 yards. Recently I hit my cobra t-rail 7 iron almost 170 yards. Granted I connected perfectly but even on not so perfect shots 155-160 is reachable. I am a beginner so some of it may be because of improved techniques but I truly believe the lighter club and design of the club head is mostly responsible. I usually celebrate when I shoot 98/99 on 18 holes but recently shot a personal best 41 on 9 holes and ran out of daylight so I am extremely pleased with my purchase. ... show more

  • A Nice Set of Clubs
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Graphite Flex: Regular Configuration: 4H, 5-PW
I had been playing with the same set of PING irons for the past 12 years. I wanted a new set of clubs but did not want to break the bank. I am also getting older, thus my swing speed is not what it used to be. I read dozens of reviews and narrowed my choice down to to the Cobra T-Rails and the Wilson Launch Pad. I ended up going Cobra. Having now played over 30 rounds with these clubs, here are my observations: Pros: *The clubs are very pleasing to the eye and are well crafted. *The clubs are very light and a high swing speed is NOT needed. *The club launches the ball high and easily. *Swinging down on the ball to create a divot is not needed. One can sweep the ground and get solid contact and results. *The shot feedback is very good. You know when you have made good contact by the sound coming off the hollow club face. *The clubs are more forgiving than traditional irons. Flight path of the ball is decent even on mishits. *These would probably be good for a beginning golfer. Cons: *If you like the feel of a heavier or stiff club, this is not the set for you. *Although the ball is easy to launch with these clubs, I feel some distance is lost vs. traditional irons. *The clubs do take a few rounds to get used to. You may have to spend some time on the range? *If you have a fast/ strong swing speed, these are probably not for you. *Each of the clubs launch the ball higher than traditional irons. This may bother some players. In conclusion, I am glad I purchased the Cobra T-Rails. I am hitting the ball accurately and with less effort vs. my traditional irons. I did have to adjust my game a bit, but the game actually comes easier to me now. Purchasing these through Amazon was an easy/ flawless process as well. ... show more

After watching all the reviews on YouTube decided on the Cobra T Rails. I am happy with the clubs. The club heads are not oversized. I have benefitted from the technology. In my prime I was a mid single digit handicap player, may not ever be that again but these clubs help me to enjoy the game more. The head covers that came with them fit nicely. ... show more

  • Shorter than Taylormade
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Graphite Flex: Senior Configuration: 4H, 5-PW
I returned these after realizing that they were approximately one club short distance wise compared to my Taylormade irons and hybrids. I played with them only three times. Amazon said free returns, so I returned them. Much to my surprise they charged a $348 restocking fee. I had paid $550 for them. Beware if you are dissatisfied with golf clubs from this vendor and want your money back. ... show more
