It's almost impossible to find truly organic bedding and this one is! Safer for children to not be exposed to all the hormone disruptors and toxins in Polyester bedding. This comforter is warm (but not too warm) and well made and comfy. Totally recommend.

I was looking everywhere for a real down comforter and not "down alternative." There is NOTHING like actual down to keep you warm, but not suffocate you at the same time. I live in New England. Our winters are crazy. It's freezing one night, 60° the next night. Somehow, this comforter regulates my temperature pretty well through it all. It's so soft and fluffy. Not heavy at all. My cats get "lost" when they lay on it lol. If you wash it, wash it in cold water, gentle cycle, NO FABRIC SOFTENER, and add old tennis balls to give it extra agitation. DO NOT try to cram it into a small washer. It needs to move freely. When you dry it, it really does need to be on the lowest setting and use wool dryer balls to help it move around. Again, DO NOT try to cram it into a small dryer. It needs to be able to move freely. It will take a good 3-4 hrs to dry on lowest setting, but any higher and you will burn the feathers. Also, make sure you dry it completely or you'll risk it getting moldy. Best purchase for my bed ever, even with the "high maintenance" aspect of it.

I bought this in a queen size and my partner and I really enjoy it. The comforter material is soft and has a nice weight to it, it almost reminds me of a weighted blanket without it feeling overwhelming. It keeps us nice and warm- almost too warm when we sleep together. We live in Minnesota so the nights get pretty chilly but we find ourselves kicking this off because it gets warm. My only complaint is that the down feathers wiggle their way out and will start poking you and then it's just a mess with the feathers everywhere on the floor. If anyone knows how to keep the feathers within the comforter I would love to know. Other than that, the price, the material, the color, and quality are all there

It is nice and cozy after it fluffs up but other reviews were right about the material, makes a crinkle sound like a plastic bag or bag of chips… it doesn’t bother me too bad but for the price I guess I expected just like a soft normal material on the outside to not make a crinkle sound. Probably would’ve shopped around for a different one had I known.

Super warm and soft. Nice heavy weight without being too hot. Made it through a mild NC winter without heat in my room with this duvet. I washed it once after a dog accident and it’s still great. Mild feather smell (upon receipt and after airing out) which is why I rated it 4 stars. Def worth the price though, it’s great.

When i searched for comforter, there were only two key points! 1. must be machine washable 2. must be warm. This comforter got both. So i bought it. This comforter does have the cons as other ratings mentioned about strong odor, the annoying noise when you move the comforters. However, i have a toddler who may pee on the bed. I must give it a try as it's machine washable. What I did is wash it right away when I receive it to get rid of the odor. For the noise part, I am okay with it. So, by now, my toddler already pee twice and I do not have to worry about not being able to wash it. Overall, I think it's a good purchase.
