Very happily surprised to find this Extra Virgin Olive Oil that's good quality with a peppery bite that you don't find in a lot of the other brands......and the price for such a large container is a real gift to those of us wanting/needing to use olive oil in our diets and whose budgets are tight. This is a big bottle of olive oil for the price, but compared to the whole foods brand of Extra Virgin Olive Oil this one is slightly bitter (never had that experience before with olive oil) so I'm guess its lower quality. Definitely was worth the money for the amount I got, but its not great eaten without being cooked so I wouldn't recommend it for drizzling on salads or using in cold recipes. Overall its a good purchase but I'll probably stick to higher quality brands in the future.

This oil was more flavorful and versatile than expected. It has a nice balance of flavor but not overpowering. It has a golden color and heats evenly and quickly. It also works well to incorporate with egg and lemon for a mayonnaise consistency. Overall would buy again, though I don’t usually go for ‘store brands’
