Had this table for 3 years and it still works perfectly. The easiest thing ever to assemble and fold. Looks fantastic with the dark wood on top. Fits a laptop and two extra monitors with more space to spare. After three years there is some minor peeling of the wood laminate due to my arms resting next to my keyboard but it's not noticeable. I was looking for a small but functional desk for a smaller apartment that I could easily bring in without hauling a heavy box and having to take out tools to put together. This desk caught my eye. It is reasonably priced and could double as a side table when not used as a desk. It arrived 2 days ago and unpacked it tonight. I had some concern from reading other reviews because of damage but mine was fine. I took pictures of the process as I know I find these handy when deciding on a purchase. This is exactly what I was looking for. I'm going to put it in a 1 bed apt. It will be used for a side table for a lamp and fan and when needed take a counter stool from the breakfast bar as a desk chair for privacy. There is no tools needed to install it at all. It was nicely packed and had no issues putting it together in minutes. I could easily put it in a closet if we didn't want it out. I could also put it in the living room as a side table as well. Easy to assemble---was skeptical that it would stay assembled and be sturdy, but it did! Easy to move around and dissasemble for storage as needed. My only real complaint is the the depth ot the top (front ot back) isn't very generous and not quite what I needed, but that's on me for not looking more closely at the listed dimensions. Ok. I took a chance and love this little desk. It arrived quickly and just as the other reviewers have said it is incredibly easy to "put together." It took me more time to get the tape off the outside of the box than it did to assemble. You just open the two sides and pop on the "desk surface" piece after aligning the plastic clips to the metal. With the crossbars, it's not wobbly and is more than enough space for my laptop, a lamp, papers, and beverage. Thoughts: 1) Perfect for small spaces. It folds up if you want to put it away. 2) It's light, so when you move it's easy to fold up and transport. 3) Sturdy. It's great - not wobbly. It is of course, not going to hold heavy, heavy items but you need to be looking for a very solid/heavy desk if that's what you want. 4) It isn't height adjustable, but that's fine for me. I didn't want another electronic thing to "break" at some point. I just wanted a simple desk with movability in mind. I find that it is tall enough that leg room isn't an issue. 5 Cost - I think it was a very well made item and relatively inexpensive. ... show more
