The media could not be loaded. Loved the size(easily held in one hand), heft, build, operation and brightness(very bright) The focus to flood feature where the lens of the torch/flashlight can be slid up or down is handy especially since it can be done with a single hand due to the provision of a rounded ring at the base of the metal head. The light is a bit yellowish and this can make it seem like it is not as bright when compared to a pure white beam, but it isn't the case. This colour seems to be more easy on the eyes and so it doesn't hurt as much as the pure white ones. Recharging: Recharging the provided batter can be done either with the port on the flashlight itself or directly on the battery with the help of the port present on the battery itself. A huge +point is that this torch can be recharged with USB power delivery (i.e where the cable is usb C on both ends), so no need to worry and wonder about if your phone's cable would work. Took about 3 to 4 hrs(approximately) to recharge from empty. And it remain charged for multiple weeks, honestly I didn't use it much and never fully drained it even once over the 3 weeks it was with me. Versatile, since a AAA battery adapter is provided to use 3 AAA batteries if the provided rechargable one ever goes out. Had to return it since I didn't have much use for it, even though it was outstanding for what it was built for. Would happily recommend to others. ... show more

Coast is the best. I have several of their flashlights. I was looking for a medium sized and bright flashlight with long runtime and this is it! This is pocketable for jobsite inspections. Very high ‘turbo’ brightness for short periods. For long run time, the normal high brightness lasts for hours. Best of all worlds. Not huge and bulky; not too small so that it doesn’t well fit in the hand. This is perfect. This is my highest recommendation for an overall high quality flashlight. ... show more

The light this thing produces is really bright, and can be adjusted to focus the beam tightly or cast it wide. The battery life of the rechargeable battery (charged by the USB-C port) is incredible, although it does take a very long time to charge initially. There is also a "panic mode" of sorts which produces an intensely bright light for a few seconds, which can be very good to have in dangerous situations. The build quality is very good. The exterior is covered in a durable rubberized layer with a good grip texture, and comes with a strong elastic wrist strap for retention. I like this light a lot, the only problem is finding a holster for it... there is no combo purchase of light and holster. I have found it to be very functional, two brightness and slide wide to narrow beam. I saw a test comparing lights of similar size and brightness... this one survived past the rest, even the most brutal high drop, it had a dented rim and still functioned where none of the other did. I'm a big fan of Coast, and have been for a very long time. I really wanted to like this flashlight, and many aspects of it are great, but there's one thing about it I just can't get by so I returned it. First, the good. Overall it's a great piece. It's really well made, feels good in the hand, has a great weight, good/easy to use controls, and can be powered by their proprietary rechargeable battery or with three AAA's. The bad (in my opinion). While the description states it's USB C chargeable, it really isn't. YOU HAVE TO USE THE CHARGING CABLE THAT COMES WITH THE FLASHLIGHT. Using a standard USB C cable will not work. I tried multiple cables, multiple chargers and with the battery in the flashlight, and out of it. Sorry Coast, this is just something that I don't want to work with. It's either USB C capable, or it's not. I don't want to be keeping track of of a charging cable just for one item. If you only use it with AAA batteries, I highly recommend it, but IMO the proprietary charging cable really handicaps this from being a fantastic flashlight. ... show more

Real time power indicator at the on/off switch is a nice feature. It turns red when the battery needs to be recharged or replaced. The slide focus for spot beam and flood beam is nifty. You can lock the slide focus lens in both spot beam and flood beam. It comes with a useful AAA battery attachment for those times you might prefer to use Alkaline batteries or do not want to wait for the rechargeable battery to charge. ... show more
