In my younger years I sold handbags at a national department store. We carried all of the big-name brands that you've heard of and some boutique brand bags that you may not have. Manufacturers, including Coach, would send representatives regularly to educate the sales people about their product. As such, I happen to have a lot of knowledge about fancy, designer hand bags. With that, I can tell you there are not many handbags that I would spend three figures on. In many cases, you are paying for the logo and nothing more. Coach, however, is an exception and probably the brand I trust most. Their manufacturing processes and quality material are top notch and rivaled by few other brands. For this particular bag, the pebbled leather, makes it very easy to care for. With a little care and conditioning polish, you'll likely tire of this bag before it ever fails you. The leather is strong, looks good, and is long lasting. The design of this particular bag is small. You can't fit the kitchen sink in it, but it's great for going out when you just need a phone, credit cards, etc. It would be ideal for a concert or sporting event as well. I can't find any fault with this bag, and given my experience with the brand, I don't expect I ever will. There are few handbags I would make this type of investment in, but Coach is worth it.
