I've been carrying Coach bags and backpacks for years. I've always leaned towards the leather products, but I've also had more than a few of their branded C fabric purses and totes. This is my first ever coated canvas bag and I absolutely love it! I honestly don't think I'd ever even touched a canvas coated Coach bag before this and now I think it's crazy that I spent so many years snubbing such a great product. This bag is small and lightweight. It's easy to clean and I don't have to worry about a little bit of rain like I would with full leather or fabric. It really holds my phone, identification, money, and a lip balm which is all I need it for. I will say that I won't carry my phone and keys in it at the same time because it's a very slim design and there's not enough room for both those things to be in there safely and without making the bag look lumpy. The bag itself is coated canvas with leather detailing and strap, and is fully fabric lined. It has a zippered top closure, a zippered outer pocket and a small open inner pocket. The strap is long enough to be worn across the body but also works very well for a single shoulder carry. The hardware is the usual high quality that you'd expect from Coach and it all functions beautifully. (I was surprised to see that the zippers are not the YKK brand that I'm used to seeing on Coach's products, but have learned that these bags use a different type.) All in all, this is a great little bag from a brand I know and have loved and trusted for years. Coach has never done me wrong, not from bags to wallets to sunglasses and this purse is no exception. If you're a fan of the brand or just looking for a nice, quality bag in this size and style I recommend giving it a try. I’m typically a D&B kinda fella, but I thought I’d expand my horizons and try this Coach crossbody bad. I must say the quality is noticeable in the build, materials, and craftsmanship. It’s small but comfortably fits a 9mm or my P223. The zipper slides effortlessly, even while fumbling for it under duress. This is reassuring that I won’t have an access issue at the most crucial time of need. The texture of the coated canvas leads me to believe it will last while ensuring the constant abuse it will receive from being toted around most days. I’m not a huge fan of narrow leather straps since they like to dig into my neck/shoulder but this one is reasonably comfortable, even during extended use. Don't go by the photos alone; measure what you need to put in the purse. It has a hard time storing a phone, wallet and comb. Strap is skinny and probably not strong.
