These are gorgeous boots. It is my first pair of Coach shoes or boots and I admit they are excellent. They look great of course, but the fit and comfort are outstanding. They slip on and off easily, and feel secure when worn. They are comfortable to walk and stand in for relatively long periods. The leather is great, holds a polish very well, and is quite easy to care for and remove minor scuffs. I can easily recommend these to anyone looking for a very fine pair of Chelsea boots.

You get exactly what you’d expect from this brand, excellent finish and top quality materials. The small details, like the brand logo on the back, plus the subtle branding inside and at the bottom, make these shoes a delight to wear. I wasn’t a fan of the elastic band side, tho. While it does make putting the shoes on and off effortless, in my opinion, it also gives them a bit of a cheap look, which is the opposite of what you’d want when wearing Coach. Sizing is spot on and these fit me perfectly. However, comfort was lacking; after about four hours on a night out, my feet started to feel uncomfortable. Overall, these are great quality shoes that look stylish. The elastic band might be a feature that some people appreciate for convenience, but for me, it’s a bit of a letdown. It’s really a matter of personal preference, some may love it, others not so much.

Jeans, T-shirt, boots, Wellingtons .. that's me. Steel-toes, work boots... tough, rugged... dare I say "stereotypically manly" for the look? That's me. What's also me? The guy always trying to lure in ladies who expect me to carry myself well, dress right, and be confident. So I decided to try something else, and "dress up a bit." These are "fancy" for a guy like me who wears cowboy boots, steel-toes, and wellington boots on the regular, but unlike dress shoes that blister your feet horribly - these DO NOT do that. They're incredibly comfortable with the right socks. I've never done a Chelsea-style boot before, but after trying these on, I completely get how it works and appreciate the design. I went a half size above my norm which was a good decision. The toes taper quite a bit, and I thought the extra length would help. Not only that, but it seems like every manufacturer out there has a slightly different interpretation of what the sizes are so upsizing ever so slightly turned into "Maybe you're a size bigger than you thought when you change styles." I'm a 10.5 normally, but I got these in 11. They fit great and look quite nice. I have no regrets in choosing these, and Coach has been a name that's been around a long time - they don't do "cheap and flimsy." These are *exceptional* in quality and build.

These boots are the quality you would expect from Coach, they look nice, they feel nice, and I believe they will hold up for a long time. The problem is they run big. I normally wear between 11 and 12 depending on the brand, but most of my shoes are 12. I ordered 11.5 for these ones thinking I'd split the difference, but that's still too big for me. The boots just slip up and down on the heel as I walk. I feel like the 11 might have worked, but these are big enough that I may have even needed to order a 10.5.

The feel and quality is outstanding. Stitching is even and beautifully done. This is a wonderfully made, luxury mens boot that is the closest to bespoke I’ll ever experience. They smell absolutely amazing and the attention to detail is all over. For comfort, the insides have cushioning which adds a soft feel against the feet. The leather bottom is solid and gives a sturdy base. My only issue is the front of the shoe does come in a little bit tight on your toes, which may or may not be an issue if you have narrow feet. I definitely would not recommend this if you require wide width shoes like size 4E. Also, the top leaves a bit more extra room around my upper ankle than I would generally prefer, so getting the right size will be important. These do not have laces so they rely on the elasticity to provide support. Now when I say there’s cushioning, these don’t feel as comfortable as walking and running shoes. These do need a few hours to break in and they will get scuffs and scratches so these are more along the lines of special occasions rather than daily commuter shoes. Overall the style and build is excellent and the comfort is slightly above average for a dress shoe.

General items: very high quality boot. Easy to put on and take off, but does stay snug. Somewhat narrow toe box. I'm a boot guy - always have been. I generally wear boots year round, to work and at play, and I just have enough to suit whatever need is in front of me at that moment. I've got rather large, wide feet (13EEEE), so I am always wary when trying something new. The good: Very high quality booth, high quality leather. The leather is smooth, supple - no obvious defects, looks excellent. The stitching between the leather and the fabric is solid - no loose threads, holds tight, looks good. The "fabric" that allows for easy on/off works well - I can slip them on and off without much effort, but they do generally stay in place - no slipping around. The sole is leather - so there is a smaller break-in period. Generally - they are very good looking boots - work nicely with both jeans and more professional wear. The bad: the sole is leather - so it'll be slippery when wet. Toe box is narrow - my feet feel tight (this may improve with additional wear, but I haven't been able to tell yet. Questionable: I can't tell if it has a true Goodyear welt or not - meaning I don't know if it's re-solable or not. I'm also not willing to cut them up to find out. If they are - then I would call them an ideal boot that should have a very long shelf life - you can always resole them and keep going. If not, then the longevity decreases significantly. Bottom line: Very high quality boot, very good looking - comfortable (but be wary for those with wide feet).
