Reimagined for today, this minimalist crossbody-to-clutch design was first introduced in 1973. Crafted from buttery soft glovetanned leather and finished with our iconic turnlock closure, "the little bag that could" (and did) is a longtime Coach favorite. This is a great, simple bag. The bag came in perfect condition-- perfectly wrapped and well-protected. I think it's quite a timeless style, and the color is also a rich brown. The capacity of the bag is quite small so will only fit the essentials (phone, cards, keys), but I really appreciate that it has a large back pocket (my iPhone 14 pro fits in there and is great for easy access). Chic small shoulder bag, however, I do wish it came with a crossbody strap instead of the second shoulder strap. Very versatile and great quality leather.

This is a lovely, classic bag. It arrived factory wrapped. If you love a vintage look, you'll like this. It will accommodate your cell phone and other essentials. The brass shoulder chain is weighty am. And although this did not come with a crossbody strap like the originals, you can easily create one by hook ing the the two straps together , or use a strap from another Coach crossbody bag. You can also purchase a third party strap, if you don't want to use the leather shoulder strap. At full retail, it's still a good price for a classic design in glove tanned leather, solid hardware and two straps. I purchased the black because I thought it was the most versatile. Although beautiful, gloved hand leather is prone to scratching. Be sure to maintain it with conditioner. I was thrilled to be able to get this through Amazon and could use my gift card balance towards the purchase. However, although I'm not expecting my item to arrive in a Coach gift box, it arrived in a plastic envelope which was not padded. I've received candy in cardboard boxes. If you',re shipping an actual bag, please put it in a real box. It wasn't a rush item, but arrived by UPS. They actually had time to put it in a box but didn't. This is my fourth coach bag. I bought it mainly for nighttime usage and although I haven’t reached for it a lot, it is extremely well-made. It’s a lot more spacious than I anticipated which I like. It can be worn as a shoulder bag or a Crossbody bag so there’s versatility there. It’s not my favorite coach bag, but I definitely like it. Recommended. ... show more

Beautiful leather on this bag, wow, Coach does it again, reinvented a classic so brilliantly. I purchased the Chalk Dinky and in case anyone is wondering like I was the lining is in the tan leather that magnificently compliments the chalk color, the bag has the leather binding on the edges and the stitching on mine is flawless. the size will make it much more suitable for today's need to carry a Cell phone among other essentials. While no doubt one should size down some, this is still a comfortable carry that is sensible, sophisticated, and just so elegantly simple. Still love the original but this new edition is destined to become a vintage piece to enjoy for years and will be sure to add to Coach"s Rich Heritage/ Legacy. Nicely Done!!     • Chain strap is ridiculously heavy.

Dinky is a beautiful bag, seems well made, and the Maple color with silver hardware is so pretty. Unfortunately the chain strap is super heavy, weighs almost as much as the bag itself. Why? The leather strap was thin and flimsy too. I could put an aftermarket strap on it, but shouldn't have to. I love Coach but returned this one. ... show more
