I absolutely LOVE this bag. This bag combines high craftsmanship with an excellent material choice. The merlot color is even richer in person than captured in photos, and the B4 stands for hardware which is brass/gold Coach signature. There is also a gold imprint stating that this is genuine full grain leather. I personally would prefer not to have such a mark on the outside of the purse; you can see it in the photos, the statement is located on the bottom outer side of the bag. A convertible chain strap can be attached or detached for short strap wear. A leather strap can also work as a short strap or be extended for a nice waistline length. The chain strap gives it a dressy touch. The inner lining is fabric and a perfect color combination for long term durability to hide unavoidable stains which will appear over time. It is the perfect size for my essentials: wallet, phone, keys and a checkbook sized daily planner and pen- everything I need daily on every outing I have--formal or casual. This Coach Brook Flap Bag fits into Coach's modern heritage revival, where flap style bags were reintroduced inspired by their archives, but updated with chains, softer leathers and fashion forward leathers and this particular bag is perfect example of this idea in action. For a small bag it is exceptionally nice! It is very well made, with nice soft leather that is stiff enough to hold shape, but flexible enough to easily open and put your stuff in it. It has an inside zippered pocket and places to put credit cards and your license so it also acts as a wallet. It’s perfect for traveling light with just your cash, cards, phone, small brush, and a lipstick. It comes with a leather shoulder strap, and a gold chain one, so you can change the look depending on where you’re going and what you’re wearing. What can you say about a Coach bag? It is iconic and will last a lifetime. This one is small enough to carry a phone, wallet and a few other necessities, but not big and bulky. Can be dressed up or down with three different strap options. The color is just gorgeous.

This little bag is so pretty. It's soft and smooth and completely delicious, like caramel. It's the perfect size and the strap is cute with its little chain and adjustable. It can be anything you want it to be (within reason, it's a pocketbook.) I would never own something like this normally, and I chose it for that reason. It's frivolous, but entirely lovely for anyone who wants quality that will last a lifetime. Ok, maybe hyperbole, but this little baby will be around for awhile. ... show more
