  • Great product
Router bit came within a few days. Comes with a holder to protect it from damage

  • It left me flat out!
And that's a good thing. I made a sled for my trim router and used this bit to smooth out a log cutoff ((about 24x36). I took small passes of about 1mm starting with the highest points. Each cut after the initial pass through was about 3/8" wide. It plowed right through. My jig was slightly higher on one side than the other so it left a ridge. I adjusted as best I could and got it pretty smooth. never stop with the bit over the wood. It will burn a circle After doing one side I turned it over and did the other. Worked just fine. ... show more

  • Comparable to the "W" brand
I use this in my desktop cnc to surface the spoilboard, but also to cut dado grooves around the edges of signage. It's good so far, cuts at the same rpm as my other identical one from the big W brand we all know. So far it seems like the carbide is holding up at the same degree. I'm happy, since it's modestly priced in comparison. I'm looking forward to seeing how it holds up over time, and will update with more pics once I have seen. It didn't have the best packaging, you'll want to put it in a bit holder since it just floats in the box, but seeing as how tough the carbide is, it doesn't seem like it needs better packaging. ... show more

  • Works exactly as described.
I needed a 1/4" bit to plane a surface completely using a router. It took a while and the bit never broke and didn't have issues. I thought my router would break instead, so the bit holds up.

  • Saves money and pays for itself
The media could not be loaded. Tried it once to resurface the spoil board on the CNC machine at my work and it worked great. Should have done this years ago. It saves money on replacing spoil boards but even more important it saves hours and hours of work replacing the boards. Seem like a good quality bit. I haven't had to use it again yet but it already paid for itself. ... show more

  • Have not used it yet for project.
Will use it to cut out a solid surface sink.

  • Nice and sharp right out of the package.
I bought this for my first router sled. It’s been through three planks. Walnut, Ash, and oak. Still looks like it has a lot of life in it.

  • Good for the price.
Works great for small projects and/or infrequent use. Don't plan on using this for regular use. The coating on the blades has chipped a little but it still cuts ok.
