  • Awesome machine!
Size: 3030-Evo Max
I've been playing with this machine for around a month. It was easy to assemble and set up, even though I had zero experience with these types of machines! Great instruction manual, too. The WiFi feature is great so I don't need the computer plugged in nearby with the dust and the spindle is pretty powerful. Whole machine is nice and solid and machines G10 and Micarta for knife guards very well. I reached out to customer service for assistance with hooking up a laser to the machine and they were excellent as well! ... show more

  • A tremendous value in a small form factor
Size: 3030-Evo Max
This machine is honestly a great value for anyone who doesn't mind a smaller work area for the tradeoff of being able to mill metal right out of the box (provided you buy your own bits for metal). The is zero play in any parts of the machine. It is incredibly solid and sturdy. The machine weighs 40 pounds and is built like a tank! The accuracy was fantastic right out of the box ass well! I had no issues working with the built-in wi-fi right out of the box and the assembly was very easy to do with the included full page, color instructions and set-up guide. The customer service is fantastic and while this seems like a newer company, their offerings in this area are already looking incredibly solid! I'm very curious to see what they can provide in future machines! ... show more

  • Top notch customer service. Small issues corrected.
Size: 3030-Evo Max
The media could not be loaded. Issue 1 : wrong screws sent. Issue 2: screws for control board fan over tightened causing fan to hit controller housing while spinning. Issue 3 : collet tolerance oversized that when inserting a bit, the retaining nut for collect is unable to be threaded on. Issue 4: Though it has a 8 pin port for a cnc grbl offline controller, It does not support. Issue 5 : just about every one of the limit switches broke. That being said, they have Superb customer service. They reached out to resolve any issue i had with the machine. ... show more

  • $600 hunk of junk
Size: 3030-Evo Max
If there was an option for negative this would get a 10. For a $600 machine it simply doesn't work. Z axis binds. Step size is horribly off. When running spindle comes off and on. Axis flip mid way through a run and it goes the wrong direction. There isn't enough space to list all the things wrong. $600 brick. A cheap $100 3018 is a better option ... show more

  • Best bang for buck (no sacrifices)
Size: 3030-Evo Max
The media could not be loaded. I’m loving this CNC so far. It’s built right and extremely affordable. This has real linear rail & metal parts throughout, not skinny little linear rod, keeping the frame stout and rigid. No printed parts. No afterthoughts. No 300w spindle to throw away, just comes with a 700w trim router ready for aluminum. Can’t wait to put this thing to work cutting 1” aluminum plates! Assembly took about 30-40 minutes and the manual was extremely thorough and written in English, overall fit and finish of machine is superb ... show more

  • Using for Small Business
Size: 3030-Evo Max
Honestly couldn't be happier with the quality of the machine, outside of a few expected issues. The linear rail guides are incredibly robust. I have used the machine exclusively for Aluminum machining up until now with a 1.5kw spindle upgrade. The cost for the value of the quality you recieve is unmatched in the market right now. Expected issues: Mainly revolve around repeat accuracy across multiple setups while holding a static 0 work location. The ball screws have some small dead spots. Has not been a problem for accuracy within a single program. This is easily solved with the ball screw upgrade if you require high precision across multiple setups in relation to each other. Customer support has been phenomenal, I have been able to talk to a real person each time I have contacted support, and they have always responded within 24h, even with general questions. Great machine so far. ... show more

  • Best bang for your buck!
Size: 3030-Evo Max
I'll update this as I get further into exploring it's capabilities. But so far it's been really impressive with the more robust ball screws and the more powerful 800W spindle. As with most machining practices, you need to make sure your bed and spindle are square before you go to town. (Otherwise, I'm sure you'll get bad results.) I did this by slightly shimming a permanent spoiler board. I also got a 1/4" collet to hold even larger endmills and am pleased with the results. You just need to keep your expectations reasonable as this is a sub-$1K cnc router. It's not going to be going head-to-head with a Haas or Tormach. I'll also add that this does have a barrier to entry as knowing how to machine is invaluable. The machine may be capable, but no one is going to teach you how to do CAD/CAM design and then produce your G-code. The first test tutorials are easy because you have a G-code file ready for you to just start. After that, you need to make or find your own. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Easy to assemble and worked correctly the first time. I contacted support to ask a warranty question and they got back to me quickly.
