However, after working with the machine for over a month, I can confidently say that the machine is exceptionally capable for its size and price. Given a basic knowledge of CAM software, operating the machine in conjunction with Candle makes for an extremely user friendly experience. Final note: outstanding customer service. Customer service was a massive help when troubleshooting throughout the learning curve.

This machine is honestly a great value for anyone who doesn't mind a smaller work area for the tradeoff of being able to mill metal right out of the box (provided you buy your own bits for metal). The is zero play in any parts of the machine. It is incredibly solid and sturdy. The machine weighs 40 pounds and is built like a tank! The accuracy was fantastic right out of the box ass well! I had no issues working with the built-in wi-fi right out of the box and the assembly was very easy to do with the included full page, color instructions and set-up guide. The customer service is fantastic and while this seems like a newer company, their offerings in this area are already looking incredibly solid! I'm very curious to see what they can provide in future machines!

Seeing the features of this machine, I've been having a hard time wrapping my head around why they're priced so well compared to other popular brands. I decided to give Anolex a try and I'm honestly amazed at what you get for your money. This little machine is a tank and it absolutely rips through aluminum with ease. As an aside, one of the leads on the power switch on my trim router came loose mid operation and I contacted customer service about it. While I could have fixed it myself, that's not really the point. I wanted to see if Anolex stands behind their products. Sure enough, Arlan took care of me and went above and beyond. He didn't grapple with me about fixing the switch or user error -- he simply replaced the spindle, no questions asked. He has been so incredibly helpful and has made me confident in knowing I'll be an Anolex customer as long as they're around.

If there was an option for negative this would get a 10. For a $600 machine it simply doesn't work. Z axis binds. Step size is horribly off. When running spindle comes off and on. Axis flip mid way through a run and it goes the wrong direction. There isn't enough space to list all the things wrong. $600 brick. A cheap $100 3018 is a better option

The media could not be loaded. I’m loving this CNC so far. It’s built right and extremely affordable. This has real linear rail & metal parts throughout, not skinny little linear rod, keeping the frame stout and rigid. No printed parts. No afterthoughts. No 300w spindle to throw away, just comes with a 700w trim router ready for aluminum. Can’t wait to put this thing to work cutting 1” aluminum plates! Assembly took about 30-40 minutes and the manual was extremely thorough and written in English, overall fit and finish of machine is superb

The build quality of this CNC is impressive, in a world of cheaply made crap this is a pearl. I've had a bit of an issue in lightburn and although I have a work around, support has been nonstop on trying to identify the issue. Go ahead and buy, you won't be sorry.

For its size (benchtop) this is a powerful and versatile machine. I have previously owned and operated a 4x8ft industrial grade CNC used to build snowboard parts and press forms, this will do the same work on it's own scale. I have a number of uses, mostly wood and plastics/composites. I had a few shipping related issues on arrival and they were quickly addressed by Arlen in their customer service after a bit of communication. I ended up installing the upgrade kit to a 12mm ball screw drive for all axis drives. I would recommend you do that as well or order the machine version with it already installed, based on my years of use of the 4x8 CNC I had. A vacuum dust collector is also a critical add on. I also plan to upgrade with a laser module later perhaps. Machine arrived well packaged with no external damage visible. Would I recommend it? Yes but with the addition of the ball screw kit or the model with it already installed. Assembly time initially about 2 hours. Subsequent disassembly, install of upgrade and reassembly was about 3 hours but worth the work. Machine is smooth as silk, reasonably quiet, moves as expected to commands and has some nice control features like a Emergency Stop and Home buttons. The wireless function is handy if I want to use my tablet to run a simple cut or plug in my laptop for a longer part run. It also included a "touch off" plate to help fast set your Z axis zero point, seen sitting on control box.
