Cuts cleanly but could stand to use a better case. I would definitely buy again as it cuts Better than the freud or Delta stacks that it is replacing.

You should probably change the pictures for this, because the case doesn’t look anything like what is shown. I was expecting a nice orange blow molded case with egg crate foam. It came with the standard carrier that most dado blades come with, ie a piece of hard plastic with blades on one side and chippers/shims on the other held on by screws. ... show more

I couldn't be happier with this dado set. It cuts super clean dados in hard woods, soft woods, plywoods, and melamine. WELL worth the cost.

    • Should Have Saw It Comming.
Bad Points: Costs way way too much money. No color choices - Not available in traditional orange. Way too many teeth, and them things are really sharp! No slop in the arbor hole, so the blades are really difficult to put on and take off. The blades don't vibrate and make the saw walk across the shop floor like my old ones did - not sure I like that..... Too many pieces in the kit. Kit did not include the really keen brochure that showed how the blade can cut through nails, screws, wires, steel bars, and all that really neat stuff. I am assuming by the lack of these grand claims, that this blade should only be used to cut notches in clean wood....sigh. Good Points: It took Amazon 2 and 3/4 eternities to get this poorly packaged item to my door. It was a wonder that this blade set survived the shipping process, and a wonder I lived long enough to see it delivered. Bottom Line: Would I purchase this item again? Nope - Since I hate it, it will never get stolen, lost, broke, or wear out. Therefore, I will never need to replace it. ... show more

I have a set of the older ones, that come with really nice case. These do not have the same quailty
