I tried pretty much all the pinaud aftershaves and this by far is my favorite. It's just perfect for warm weather. It's light and cool but different than allllll the other 'light & cool' frags out there, which all smell like every shower gel, deodorant, etc. This is woody with the cedar, and kinda juicy with the juniper berry from gin plus lime. I guess like walking past a berry patch in cedar woods on a warm sunny day. And you've got a limeade in your hand. It's present but not overpowering. Masculine but not too masculine. Different but not too different. Like, different enough to be unique, but not so different that you're gonna stick out like a sore thumb. I'll wear this anywhere anytime it's warm out.

How does it work as an aftershave in helping recover from the shave and calming the skin? Great. If it can’t do a good job at this, it doesn’t matter how good it smells. Fortunately, it does smell quite good. There is more juniper than gin, and a little musk at the bottom. It’s very nice. I can smell it throughout the day, but I have oily skin and scents tend to linger on me. I don’t get tired of it halfway through the day. A word of advice, and this is for all Pinaud products: decant it into glass. The plastic will add something odd to the scent. It is this way with every Pinaud scent I have used. Out of a glass container this gets even better. Same with Clubman, Whiskey Woods, and Lilac Vegetal.

My hubby's favorite aftershave (Virgin Island Bay Rum from Pinaud) wouldn't be here in time, I decided to purchase a few new scents for him to try out instead while we waited for the Bay Rum. This one hit it out of the park. I love it at least as much as the Bay Rum and better than the other two scents I bought (Sweet Rum and Brandy Spice). My husband loves the scent, too. His only complaint is that the scent doesn't stick around long enough.

This, like most other aftershaves from Pinaud, they smell awesome but are much too weak and shortly afterwards there's no fragrance left. I would've given it 5 stars if it wasn't for that.
