I bought this not thinking it would do much, but was pleasantly surprised. Normally the digital readout is in single digits. I live in the northeast and we have had some poor air quality days from the forest fire smoke out of Canada. The numeric readout for the air quality and on the hazy days from the smoke had jumped up quite a bit, close to 100 with my doors open. Once we realize where the poor air quality was coming from, we closed up the house and eventually got the air quality down to under 20. And when the air finally cleared in a few days it was back to single digits. Also another unexpected improvement was the reduction of dust in the house. In the past I had to dust on a fairly regular basis but with the air cleaner running it has all but eliminated that chore. Remote operation only works if connected to Alexa, it does work fine manually too since it's basically turn on and forget about it. There is no app to control it other than through Alexa, even though the description and pictures on Amazon looks like there is an actual app.

Everyone that says this product is loud or doesn't work needs to send theirs back and get another one. Mine is awesome works great and only is loud if we are cooking. My house was like at 120 bad air quality it ran for a he is so and we were down to 4 it is very noticeable going into my house how fresh and nice the air is inside now. I only have this one in the living room and I can notice some difference room to room so I plan to get the smaller version to go in each bedroom and one in the dining area by the kitchen. This thing works knocks out the kitchen smoke and most of the smell quick I mean you can still smell the food but not the smoke or anything and once the food is out away the food smell goes away fast.

This Clorox air purifier is excellent! A few times when I did not know the air quality was bad outside, my air purifier let me know! Keep it on auto and it will crank up more based on the air quality. So easy to use. It gets rid of everything and has a carbon filter and gets rid of the bad air quality from wildfire smoke. I originally bought 2 and immediately bought 2 more because I was so happy with the product! I very, very seldom write product reviews but had to share how absolutely pleased I am with this product!

This Smart Air Purifier by Clorox was Very easy to setup. I have mine setup in the family room. All you need to do is take it out of the box, plug it in and scan the barcode on the back of the purifier and set up in Alexa was very simple. I love that it's smart home connected so if I forget to turn it off or need to make a change to how it's running, I don't have to keep getting up to do that. I can just use Alexa to make those changes. If you have a toddler like I do, make sure to use the Lock feature. Mine loves messing with the purifier because it beeps every time a button is pressed. Speaking of which, that is another reason why the smart connectivity is nice. I can be in the kitchen and if I hear my toddler messing with it, I can go into then Alexa app to lock the controls w/o having to rush to prevent him from messing with it. The smart functions are very easy and straight forward to use that anyone could use it without being confused. One thing that sets this air purifier apart from the rest is how quiet it is, even set on high. At the high setting you can hear it, but it's not loud and blends in with the household or room noise. From the sound you can hear from it, it's not annoying. Some things to consider when purchasing an air purifier are the cost of filters. Clorox says your can get up to12 months from a filter, based on how you use the purifier. From Clorox or other retailers, you can purchase a new filter for $40-$50. Additionally, to prolong the life of the filter and proper maintenance of the machine, remove the filter once a week and clean off the outside it. This will help ensure smooth airflow and longevity of the Purifier and use of the filter. Although the smart home connectivity is really nice, it would be great if there was a third party app, like most smart devices have. The reason why, is because sometimes Alexa doesn't hear you correctly or the App malfunctions or isn't working correctly. At least with a 3rd party app, another user could use that instead since Alexa doesn't allow the sharing of non-Alexa devices with other Alexa user profiles in the house that are linked to you. Otherwise, overall, this air purifier is solid and a very welcomed edition to my household.

Bought this for an up north cabin which smelled musty, moldy and damp. Only used the cabin a few times a year so it doesn't get aired out much and is very old. After cleaning a few weeks ago and all the mold in the place decided we needed something. Must say, this was an excellent purchase. Such a night and day difference in the smell of the place in even a short time. The place is only less than 500sq. ft. and this changed the air quality(smell wise) in 2 hours at max. And with this size, the filters aren't ridiculously priced.

I'm a bit suspicious because it almost always says we have very clean air... In a house with three kids, two dogs, and carpet. But hey, that's neat if it's true! But by "almost always," it turns on full-blast almost every time I cook. In fact, this sucker whirs like a spaceship taking off as soon as I break out my frying pan. I'm not sure if I should be insulted or thankful that it feels the need to save my family from the low air quality that my cooking apparently creates. 🤣
