My adult niece was sporting sparkly hair at a party and I wanted to try it myself. She told me it was called "fairy hair" and had it done at a salon. After checking prices I decided that I was never going to be able to justify getting fairy hair. Enter this clip in hair tinsel. No, it isn't the expertly done sprinkling that a salon can do but for the diy clip in price of these tinsel clips I'm happy to be able to achieve a similar effect. Plus, I can remove them and reuse them! I have pretty thick shoulder length hair so I find that clipping in the tinsel under the top most layer of hair and close to my part gives the best peek a boo effect while keeping the clip out of site. I don't use all the clips at once, just 2 or 3 spaced apart on either side of my head and one in the back at the crown (if I have help). The strands are really long so you can cut them to your desired length. The tinsel is fun to wear to casual gatherings. I have the gold but will probably get the multi-color strands as well.
