I am a medium olive skin tone with redness, acne, oily, and large pores. I used the shade Ginger and it was too light. They came out with the new shade 24W sand and it fits my skin perfectly. It isnt high coverage as you can still see some redness and pimple. It leaves a glowy satin finish. The coverage is buildable and it has SPF in the formula i think. I would highly recommend!

This is for someone with a normal or dry skin type who wants a light and quick base. This product won't dramatically change the appearance of your skin, but does feel nice and lightweight. I would not recommend this to someone who's completely new to cushion foundation unless they've done a lot of research on it already. Honestly, there are better cushions out there for around the same price point. -Low to low-medium coverage. Another product is needed for things like heavy discoloration, acne scars, pimples, etc. -Thin, hydrating formula -Little to no oxidation noticed after 8 hours of wear -Skin-like finish when applied lightly to moderately. Dewy when applied heavily -For patting application: doesn't exaggerate pores or dry patches, but also doesn't do anything to minimize them -Easy to throw in your purse and do light touch-ups -Not self-setting if applied moderately to heavily. Powder needed for any crease-prone areas -Easy to over-saturate the applicator cushion because of the mesh dispenser. Recommend patting excess off on the bottom of the sealing cap -Washing the cushion is a little difficult, and the foundation staining doesn't go away even after using makeup remover, dish soap, and throwing it into the washing machine. -Be careful not to get the cushion dirty. Any lint you get on the cushion will inevitably end up on the mesh dispenser, and trying to pick anything off that thing is a nightmare

(For context, I’m a “wasian” (Korean/Caucasian mixed), fair skin with slightly olive/yellow undertones and bought shade 21N LINEN. I always struggle to find foundation shades that truly match me, so unfortunately I’m not surprised it didn’t.) So, I was pretty excited to try this product out after seeing some Korean influencers rave about it but unfortunately I picked the wrong shade (too cool toned/pink) so I can’t really wear it. The product itself seems pretty good, it lasted throughout the day decently, the coverage was medium-full, and looked glowy and dewy. Very pretty packaging and nice product itself, however I don’t think either shade below or above what I picked would’ve matched me either. If CLIO increases their shade options I’ll certainly try it again. Once again off to search for a foundation that actually matches us wasians 🥲
