I used this product for several years when I was younger and it was fantastic. I stopped using it for a while and decided to try it again. I am now in my 50's and even though it feels beautiful and soothing going on it makes my face feel tight and dry. Noticed I'm getting redness and slight burning around my nose and mouth the more I use it. I even had some pimples on and off. I actually went back to using ponds cold cream and it cleared up the burning and the pimples. My skin is getting more mature and it actually loves the cheap stuff with Mineral oil. It's still a nice product but skin changes and do what works for your skin. Don't take advice from other people. Try with a travel size and see if it works. This is a great hydrator to mix with bb cream or tinted moisturizer that might be a little thick and in need of making a little go a longer way, I use it for that or on its own when I just need something light for the day. It’s good on its own as well, dries quickly and isn’t sticky at all. I only wash my face at night (sensitive, fussy skin) and use a damp cloth in the morning to blot off any excess oil from the night. Throw this on if you don’t want to use a thick moisturizer in the morning. You don’t have to use a lot, it’s very velvety and goes on smooth. Like all Clinique products, it’s high quality, lasts a long time and is on the pricier side.
