I was a little disappointed there weren't any in depth reviews so here's mine. The outside appears well stitched and of quality materials. The sides have plastic supports inside the lining to strengthen it when filled. The inner liner seems a bit thin so I'd advise being careful with forcing jagged ice chunks in it. The 30 can reference is great if you're into cans but my concern was for water bottles and sports drinks. You can comfortably fit 12 water bottles/beer bottles or 20 ounce sports drinks. If you have a three wheeled stroller don't expect it to fit in the bottom compartment. Review will be updated after a few months of family time torture. Hope this helps. ... show more

This picture was taken after 6 hours in direct Florida summer sun on a boat. 90°+ Honestly, I did not think it would hold up compared to hard coolers made to withstand heat, but I was presently surprised. I put a 12 pack cans with 10 pounds ice. I didnt think it would hold up and was prepared to move my drinks to the main boat cooler after voltage. But.. in turn laughed because my floppy cooler heldnice longer than the igloo boat cooler. It is now 10:50pm, about 12 hours later, and I just dumped the remaining ice out of the cooler.     • Perfect for traveling with breastmilk

I bought this after reading reviews and needing something to carry pumped breastmilk in while travelling away from my baby. This is a great size for flying - holds quite a bit, but also can fit under an airplane seat (most of the time) or easily in an overhead bin. It keeps my ice frozen and breastmilk cold for a loooong time. I have travelled three times now and spent 10+ hours with milk in this cooler and its always stayed frozen (if already frozen) or cold (if freshly pumped). Some of the ice, of course, melts after that amount of time, but the vast majority was still frozen and definitely the milk was cold/frozen when I got home. The only downside is that I wish it had a pocket on the outside - even a super small flap or something. Because I carry it onto the plane, I do find myself wishing there was somewhere to stick my phone or ID or whatnot for a second here and there. Not something that would keep me from buying again, but it would be convenient if it had a small pocket. ... show more

My husband and I recently took a Clever Made folding cooler to Ireland for a two week vacation. It fit easily in the bottom of my checked bag and added almost no weight. We like to go exploring off the beaten path, so we carried a picnic lunch everywhere. The cooler kept our meat, cheese, fruit, and drinks cold and never leaked, which was really important since we were traveling in a very small rental car. It was super light weight, yet sturdy enough to act as a little table between our two folding chairs. It had plenty of room for food and drink for two - with room to spare. I felt like we could easily have put twice as much inside. The built-in bottle opener on the strap is a nice plus. Extremely easy to clean, too, so on the trip back there was no smell of food inside my suitcase. Highly recommend this, especially if you are traveling or have limited storage space. ... show more

I really love this cooler. We live in Florida 5 minutes from the beach and have gone through MANY, MANY coolers over the years. I wanted one with a strap and that was collapsible so that I could dump ice and water and store in my car regularly. This one is perfect. It's well made, quality materials and holds a ton of items. We recently even took it over to Universal Orlando resort and filled it with drinks so that we had stuff in our hotel room rather than running up the credit card at the resort and it was perfect for that. We didn't buy a single thing and only relied on what was in the cooler. Stayed cold for almost three days by just dumping water and replacing with new ice from ice maker. We’ve taken a few vacations where we fly somewhere, then take an extended road trip. We used insulated shopping bags we got for free, which were not ideal. We decided to step it up for our last trip and ended up with this one after combing through reviews. This packs very well, with a cutting board, knife and corkscrew stowed inside and an elastic strap keeping everything compact. On our trip, it stayed upright in the trunk on windy, hilly roads. Inside it held a bottle of wine upright, two quart-size containers and two ice packs - along with our cutting board and utensils - very easily. Overall, it worked great for two of us for over a week. As described in size and color, but simply does not do a good job of keeping food cold. Had to use lots and lots of ice to last through a trip on the road in winter. Also had blue ice packs in there. Would be okay for a picnic but not much else.

This is a great bag to pack in ones bag when traveling. Collapsed, it takes up almost no room in the bottom of one's suitcase during a flight. Upon reaching one's destination, the bag can be loaded up with a bag of ice and food for one's day of adventure and sight seeing. It is so nice not to have to find a restaurant and eat too many calories while on vacation.
