I got this as a gift, and the smell is quite nice. If you do consider getting this as a gift, keep in mind that the fragrance is not contained within the packaging, so you will need to put it in an additional bag to hide the fragrance before gifting it. I'm not 100% sure how therapeutic it is, but the smell is inviting.

I was pleasantly surprised at how scented these little guys are. The disk itself is about as big around as the top of a K-cup for keurigs, maybe a little bigger, and about an inchish(?) deep. They honestly look like little candies in the package (beware for small children!!). My partner and I tried the grapefruit one and it was STRONG, especially when you stood directly over it (when placed on the floor). My partner said it smelled as strong as menthol. When the puck did fade away, the bathroom was nice and steamy and the scent carried very well! I could've stayed in that hot, steamy, grapefruit goodness forever... But my water bill wouldn't like it. The scent lingering on the steam was definitely lighter than when the puck was present, so to some it may fade away all together (hence 4 stars there). For longevity, it lasted a while in the shower itself, I just don't know how shelf-stable they are, as I just got them in. And the box and wrapping of each puck is wonderful!! Definitely giftable and for sure splittable if you want to include a few in gift bags (bridesmaids, anyone?). Overall, 4.5 stars, but Amazon only allows for 4.

As opposed to the eucalyptus/mint steamers (completely different brand) that actually fizz when exposed to water, fully engulf the shower in a powerful scent, and last quite a few showers, these instantly dissolve (no fizz, just melt) and look really nasty as they do so. Granted, I have white tiles in my shower, but these photos say it all... And by the way, the scents are pretty artificial smelling and are not particularly powerful.

The first time I got this was about a couple of months ago from a friend for my birthday. These beautifully scented shower disks have been on my mind since! I had to order two boxes! I didn’t know until I searched for the product that these steamers come in many more scents. My favorite is the lavender one! They arrived in a neat box that explains what scent each dissolvable disk is when you lift it up. Each disk is wrapped tightly in a clear wrap, and the box explains that you don’t place it directly under the shower spray. Next to it. Mine have always dissolved within three to four minutes leaving little to no residue. The times when residue was left behind it is very easy to clean up. (It’s mostly tiny flower pieces.) Each disk smells amazing in a warm steamy shower! Makes every shower feel like you’re in a spa! It’s not too heavy and not light. It’s like the Goldilocks of shower steamers! Just right!! The scent lasts even after the shower, because many times my husband would come into the bathroom after my shower asking what I used that made the whole bathroom smell so good! I will not only buy more for myself, but I’m going to give a couple of boxes to friends as gifts!
