I wanted to upgrade my Strata 3 wood and came across this item. I'm not that advanced of a player yet to spend 250+ on a Ping or Titleist. Cleveland wedges are what they are known for (have one myself) wasn't sure I would be impressed but this thing easily hit my ball straight 210 yards which I could never have gotten off my strata. For reference Im hitting 210 with my driver so for this club to match my driver... dang might as well get the the Halo XL Driver real soon!! Played my 1st round with this club and it's awesome! I can't hit my driver straight, so I have been playing for about a year using my Cleveland Launcher XL Halo hybrid 3 as the driver and I'm a 19 handicapper with it. I decided to try this 3 wood and what a difference. My Hybrid goes about 210 yards off the tee but this 3 wood goes 245+ yards and straight as an arrow. In the fairway I hit it 235 yards. It's very easy to hit and feels very smooth--no need to hammer it! My new favorite club. Update: my third round of golf with this club and still loving it! The oversized head creates a large sweet spot so no more lost balls from miss hits. ... show more

I don’t rate golf equipment often, this one deserves special mention . I needed a hybrid and bought the Cleveland Launcher 4H. It was so good, I needed FW wood replacement and bought this 5 wood . I have used all kinds of elite woods and I have to say honestly that this is the best I’ve ever used , at much cheaper price . Used for first time in tournament and it was dead straight and powerful, wonderful look at address and accurate on launch . I even used it off tees on shorter par 4s. It nearly matched my driver on some cases ! It’s so good I bought the same 3W and it’s on the way . If it’s anything like the 5w I’ll probably use it instead of driver . The real feature are two strips on bottom of club face that provide grooves that keep the face on target . I had two Tour Edge Exotic fairway woods that had this and I wore them out . This club mirrors these in this design feature. I highly recommend these Launcher Halo woods ! And I’m a pretty hard sell. ... show more

I hadn’t upgraded my 3 metal for several years. While looking at the brand name club manufacturers most 3 metals were in the $300 range. I picked this up for $153 and so far I’m happy with the club. Give it a try.

These fairway metals seem to suit my senior swing. At 65 I need all the help I can get. They are forgiving and are one of the easiest metals to hit that I've found to date.
