Got my 16 oz Cleto Reyes and they are all that I expected from them.. Nice leather aroma and great look and feel. This is my second pair of Cleto Reyes and I wanted to get 16pz as my other ones are 12oz.. Have not tired them in the bag yet, but first impressions are great.

Legendary gloves! They are narrow, but that's ok for Mexican style gloves. You should let them break in, that takes some time, maybe month or two of active workouts. After that, they will sit as custom gloves, created exclusively for you. The colours of WBC edition are amazing. I bought 14 oz, and they are exactly 13.9 and 14.2, so it seems Cleto fixed the issue with wrong weight, which was reported by many users before. Cover then with petroleum jelly once a month, get a glove deodorant inserts, wipe them dry after a workout and they will last for years! ... show more

Trying to decide on a pair of gloves can be stressful as it is so I hope this review helps someone out there decide or narrow down their options! Right off the bat, the leather smell hits you when opening the package and the style of the glove is very attractive. Trying on the glove, they are very snug for 14oz (possibly more snug than my other 12oz gloves) and I will mention I have a small-moderate hands so no complaints here, definitely something to keep in mind when picking out the size. As mentioned, a tight fit but very secure nonetheless. Sufficient wrist support and compact padding which means great feedback when landing punches. These will be my go-to training gloves for padwork, bag work, and possibly occasional sparring but these are known as puncher's gloves and I definitely understand what they mean by that. Get a separate pair of gloves strictly used for sparring in order to protect your fellow boxing partners. I would rate these 9/10 and with the free 2 day shipping from Amazon, $200 is worth the investment! ... show more
