I love the image on this puzzle, which is San Francisco at dawn. I believe it’s a combination photo and painting. Vivid colors and textures throughout. I like this puzzle because there are enough distinct subjects to keep solving moving right along; i.e., without getting stuck for weeks on a swath of same-colored sky, water or rocks (like the Ravensburger Lofoten Norway puzzle). Very difficult (3,000 pieces) but that's what I love. The pieces themselves are lovely, slightly textured well made, and fit together well. This company makes extremely well-crafted puzzles. I will be purchasing more from them.

Overall, this was a great puzzle and very challenging/satisfying. However, after dozens of hours over two weeks working on it, there is an edge piece missing. This is the second of five puzzles I've purchased from this manufacturer that has had a missing piece. Very disappointing given the time and effort involved in completing a daunting, 3,000-piece puzzle from a manufacturer claiming to have a high quality process that they say ensures no missing pieces. ... show more
