I got this to solarize an area of bermuda grass and it looks to be working really well. I put it down in June and will leave it until September because, as anyone who fights bermuda grass knows, nothing short of an atomic blast will kill that stuff. We've hit record high temps here this summer up to 107 and I can see everything under the plastic is fried. Now just hoping it's killed the roots, which can go down a foot or more. The plastic has held up well to the sun, heat and my dog making the occasional trek across it. It isn't clear like glass, but clear enough that I can see through it, even the overlap.
