Short story: Great product. Small holds a good 4oz, large holds at least 9oz. I wish sellers sold the same red, but I can't complain about quality. Long story: Purchased a few small for car camping spices, ended up buying enough for all my spices in my kitchen. Most spices can be slightly compacted where the jars hold at least 5oz small, 10oz large. Containers don't like Dynamo labels, but cheap clear plastic tape works to hold labels. Cheaper than Rubbermaid alternative, seem just as good. As an avid home cook, I hated my spice cabinet, so I turned it into a drawer.

I like the compact size of these spice containers. I bought them for my teeny tiny rv (10 foot long). It's just me, myself, and I, so these containers should hold more than enough spices to last me the whole season. Now, if you full time it or have a crew of fambly, you'll prolly need to refill at least once during the season. The tops of the containers are removable for refilling purposes. The pour spout section of the top stays firmly closed. The shaker part has a slight gap, so I'm not sure how well it will keep moisture out. But hey, it'll give those harried moms out there something else that needs doing on their "relaxing" vacation if in fact the lids don't close completely. There's nothing more exciting than trying to shave just enough spice off the block that's stuck in the container to season the food properly for your picky eaters all while trying to keep said picky eaters alive long enough to enjoy the dinner you've slaved over a hot fire to fix for the little ingrat... um, them. So, enjoy! I'm a camper and I approve this message.

I've tried several spice jars over the years. I even bought these drawer things to hold the jars. They were all just okay. I came up with the idea of using lazy susans for my spices but wanted one type of jar instead of mish mosh I had going. I actually saw these spice jars in another brand and was considering purchasing them (a little pricey) when I spotted these. I ordered one set to see if I would like them. They have a large opening so they are easy to fill. The top has a shaker side and the large opening side which is so nice. I definitely liked them and immediately ordered another set.
