I'd been shopping around for a different cleanser to use in the morning. I typically used CeraVe's Salicylic Acid face wash, which is great but I was using it too often so it was drying out my face a bit. I did some research and saw Hero's wash so I decided to try it. I typically have a bit redder cheeks, which didn't irritate me at all. It's very gentle and softening. I use it every morning and some nights, whenever I'm exfoliating, and it works like a dream. I don't wear makeup aside from mascara typically, so I'm unsure how well this works in regard to that, but it is a nice face wash for first thing in the morning. It's reasonably priced for the bottle, unlike a lot of other face washes, so it's definitely worth the try if you're considering it!

It did get my skin clean but it just never felt clean, if that makes sense. There's no bubbling up or foaming to it so I just never felt like my face was getting properly cleaned. I also felt like I got zits more regularly with it, not so much breaking out but 1 - 3 would pop up then slowly go away and then more would pop up right before they were fully gone. It felt like there was never a time my skin was completely clear and I've never had that happen before, I really just feel like it wasn't getting my skin clean enough in the end. So I stopped using it before the bottle was fully empty, I'd say I'd used about 3/4 or more since I bought it 2 months ago with everyday use. It's really sad since I LOVE this brand and buy a lot of there stuff (the pimple dots they are the best there is, hands down.) but this isn't for me, I really wanted to like this one too. :(

Doesn't foam up and is sorta lotiony on the skin but gently cleans my skin on those days when I've had too much weather.

I like the texture of the product. It is a little bit thick but easy to apply. However, it smells very chemical-y. Also, it made my face super dry. I broke out for weeks with this cleanser. I have normal, sensitive, acne prone skin. This is not the cleanser for me.

I was using the jelly cleanser and it was just way too much for my skin. It really worked for the acne but I felt like my skin was just peeling off from how intense it was. I also have a rash I get around my nose every month that I have to be very cautious of. I switched to this and it is life changing. I have hormonal breakouts and use this cleaner, the toner, and the moisturizer AM and PM. Then in the AM I use the hero green tinted sunscreen. I do not get oily anymore and my face looks so much better. This cleanser makes your skin feel clean but not stripped.

I have combination skin and use some aggressive topical treatments. This cleanser is extremely gentle and I’m totally loving it. Fragrance free and sensitive skin friendly.
