I do use them for cleaning dishes but the little bristles on the one side don't really hold any soap. They are a tad tight and could have got a size larger, but they do come in handy for cooking and taking things out of the oven. The get a little warm if you hold something too long but work great. I use them when i cook bacon in my cast iron skillet and can grab the handle and not get burnt, and even use them to assist in turning over the bacon right in the pan with the grease and they work great for that. Then you can put a little soap on them and rub your gloves under hot water and all the grease comes right off. Not so much for washing but good protection and great for cooking. ... show more

My husband yelled from the kitchen, "Give these gloves 5 stars!" When we cook bacon or any fatty meat in the oven, we place it on a wire rack elevated over a cookie sheet. That wire rack is always a pain to clean, with crispy burnt bits sticking to the little square holes. This would ruin our sponges and take three times as long as this glove-love! ... show more

Not sure how I am the only one putting one star to this product ... literally I have to hold tight each dish because these gloves are sooo slippery that very thing fall from my hand when doing the dishes , I broke 1 mug 1 glass and 1 China tray in one week .on the top of that , I found a hole in on the gloves after 2 weeks of use... So it’s basically a disposable gloves... I don’t recommend this product. ... show more

Weren't for me, too big. Husband broken a mug because it's too slippery with soap on gloves. I couldn't fault him because I had the same problem especially with glasses. I wouldn't recommend these. They worked great for cleaning our glass stove top though. After the second day I noticed water kept getting inside glove, upon inspection it was leaking through the bristles. The seller was very kind to replace, but because I found it hard to wash things with these gloves I passed. Customer service is good. The product was ok, but not for me. ... show more

I bought these specifically for my shower and tub and they work great! While I am in the shower, I apply liquid soap (no, nothing toxic and no chemicals... soap...) to the gloves and wipe down my shower and tub. So easy! Easy to clean afterward and just hang up afterward on our second shower bar. I could tell before I even purchased these that it would not be great for dishes. ... show more
