    • The plastic plunger keeps breaking!!! Design flaw!
There is a plastic piece that is attached to the plunger to push the clay through the tube. The plastic piece broke the first time and I returned the extruder for a new one. It happened again. Apparently there is a design flaw in this extruder. All parts are metal except for the plastic plunger head. It cannot withstand the pressure of the clay and therefore breaks!!! I will be asking for a complete refund and I am hopeful the company will refund me the amount. I do not recommend this product. I gave it a 2nd try thinking it was just a defective part but the system is defective. ... show more

    • Solidly made, but not enough leverage
I read a review that said that it was too hard to squeeze the trigger. I have great grip strength, so I wasn't worried about it. But it was a huge problem. I heated the clay to soften it. I had my VERY strong friend try. I tried stabilizing the device in a vise and tried to add leverage by slipping a pipe over the trigger. I was able to use it with the largest die using all our combined strength. Will be returning ... show more
