finally got to use this today. Awesome. worked very well. used it to pick stumps up from 12" tp 18" trees with 3' stumps on the dug out root ball. there was some weight there. hooked this thing up lifted with my backhoe bucket and away we went. It did bend the claw hook a little but didn't diminish from it's function. I was using it beyond it's intended use. Would buy again if this one ever needed to be replaced. ... show more

Found for the price it is functional. Probably not the heaviest metal material but functional for our needs. We only need occasionally when we take down a tree every 3-4 years. For commercial use, you would probably want something else.

Tongs arrived on time and are very sturdy. I ended up with 2 pairs and glad I did as it makes moving logs much easier with my tractor, basically one on each side of the hooks welded to my quick tatch plate.

Broke after dragging 2 logs. It might do fine as a lifter only, should definitely not have skidder in the description. It's garbage. I would rate 0 stars if possible.
