I have thin hair so I didn't have much of a bun of my own. I'm going to order another just to have on hand. It says the life span is about 6 months as you cannot wash them. Reasonably priced. Update: I did order another bun so that I would have another. The first one I ordered I had to return because it had a reddish kinda hue to it. They promptly sent me a replacement. The color wasn't too bad but it was Shiney. A fake looking kind of super shine to it. I must have really lucked out on that first one being such a perfect match. I ordered 2 other synthetic hair pieces before ordering this. This piece is made from real hair, so I understood the added cost comparatively. I read the reviews and actually contemplated the purchase for a couple weeks. However, after looking at the pictures and reading the reviews I decided it would be a worthwhile investment considering I have to wear my hair up most of the time. Unfortunately though, once I received my purchase, it cost as much as the 2 synthetic pieces I had already received and been using for weeks happily. I discovered this was no where near what I thought I was getting. The picture must be mostly the model's actual hair with the purchased hair piece being little more then a medium size clip adding a very small amount of volume. If you have any hair volume or length, this will do very little for you. The model picture is very misleading. I paid too much to not use this piece at all, but considering I'm a prime member who orders regularly, I sincerely hope they reach out to me and offer some sort of compensation. I hope this helps both the customers and the retailers

The only issue I had with this product is the clip is way to big and heavy for my head so it would slip out easy if I did not secure with Bobby pins. The hair quality is so good and a great match. Instead of returning it I removed the hair from the clip. The hair is on a hair binder so it’s a great scrunchie. I would buy this again it’s larger than other hair scrunchies.

I lucked out by choosing the darkest brown; the medium brown appeared much too light, and the shade that was darker than the 'darkest brown' had black hair mixed into it. My hairstylist appeared surprised to see natural hair in this hairpiece that blended well with my hair color. Wearing suggestions were to pull one's hair back into a ponytail and to clip the hair piece onto the ponytail.
