The first pair I got for free at a church swap. They quickly became my favorites. The second pair I bought on Amazon in the same color because dark blue goes with everything I want to wear with flip flops. I’ve been a hardcore Sketchers fan for years because they’re supportive and padded which I need, because I’ve had bilateral double tendon transfer on my feet. That’s 8 hours of foot surgery, so I know quite a bit about foot pain and orthotics. I used to wear custom sandals, then I was able to wear Sketchers, and now I can wear these. They give me enough support plus the padding my nerve-damaged feet require for comfort. Decades passed between surgery and being able to wear any shoes without orthotics, so I’m NOT telling others with plantar fasciitis that these will be that magic shoe. However, if you can wear Sketchers sandals, these could be worth trying. I’m in the South, so these get year-round wear. No contest, I wear them more than any other shoe. Clarks make an excellent shoe. They are amazingly comfortable feels like you are walking on a cloud. The fit is true to size I wear a size 6. I purchased another pair 2 years ago and they were getting worn out. I wear these shoes inside and outside in all settings. I also washed them with Dawn soap, water and a scrub brush many times. The Velcro strap allows for adjust and they do stretch over time but not to the point they become loose. The color I ordered was Pewter and it takes on a taupe look in some lighting. ... show more

I waited until this went on sale, as they do from time to time. It’s not a sexy sandal, but it’s more comfy than my usual flip flops, even though it’s still a flip flop that tends to make my arthritic hip act up if I walk so much in them. But this is more appropriate to wear to a restaurant than a rubber flip flop, so I’m glad to have it. The pewter is nice looking, and the padding is much welcomed. I wear an 11 in closed shoes, a 10 in open shoes, and this is a 10. Perfect fit. Not too short. I am on the narrow side, if that helps to make a decision. I am a true size 8. But a size 8 in these is just too large. There are no half sizes. I can wear the size 7 with my toes at one end and my heel at the other. These are my go-to slip on shoes. Love the support - comfy enough to spend all day in them, plus the adjustable fit of the piece that goes across your foot allows you to loosen them if your feet are swollen, or tighten them up a bit if you're on the beach. This is the second pair of this style/brand that I own -- the first (black) was given to me as a birthday present and I loved them so much I had to buy another pair in this color. Now I can wear these with every summer outfit I own -- and since it's still in the 90s here in the Midwest, looks like a longer use period! Something I must mention -- these don't slide on your feet when you walk no matter the terrain. You don't have to grip the shoe with your toes to hold them on. They are so comfortable and now I also have a pair I can wear in the house as those hard floors and long periods of standing really take a toll on my back if I am barefoot or not wearing supportive shoes.
