I exclusively bought Clara Clark for years, its the only brand we buy and I have them in every size. I loved how soft, sliky and smooth they were and how they kept me cool when I slept. It was a treat to slip into the sheets at night. They also held up well, wash after wash and are affordable. I've never had issues with quality or mattress fit before. What the heck happened? This set is awful and nothing like my other sets. Purchased the split king the two bottom sheets feel like they were made of different material one is grainy nylon feeling, neither are soft or silky and they are hot. They don't fit right either, I have standard size mattresses not deep and the sides don't go to the bottom of either of the mattresses. Super disappointed!

When I first opened the item, it was wrapped between two pieces of cardboard to keep it's neat square shape in the plastic package. (It seems kind of superfluous since it's already in a tightly sealed bag.) When I furled it to remove the cardboard, it immediately gave off a musky, old library book smell (the bad kind, with hint of poop). Weird, but I figured with a wash, it would clear it up, right? Right, nbd. CUT TO: TWO washes later ... The sheets still smell like it, AND the smell transferred to my clothes in the dryer. I've literally never had this happen before. I'm equal parts curious, impressed, and concerned. Aside from the smell, after the first wash, the sheets started pilling. One. Wash. Needless to say, the second wash didn't make things better. Frankly, I'm not sure what the issue is. I purchased this item because I tried out a family member's set, which were super comfortable. Although, I was suspicious when I saw that there were 34K reviews, most of which were overwhelmingly positive. I wish I could gif a Hercules-disappointed meme into this purchase. I was really looking forward to gifting these to my mom. Instead, I have to do the one thing I hate doing for online purchases: Find a way to return the item.

The sheets are soft and have a great color and cut. I own both cotton and microfibre sheets and I personally think cotton is better all round, it breathes better and softens with each wash. Microfibre is much cheaper ($40 for good microfibre, $200 for good cotton) and has many great qualities for bedsheets. These sheets come in very handy during winter, they aren't porous in nature like cotton and therefore don't breathe as well, keeping the warmth in. It can feel hot to stifling in summer, fantastic and warm in winter. These sheets are a lovely white (not cream, not off white). I firmly believe white is a staple sheet for any bedroom. I use my navy cotton sheets as often as possible and use these while the cotton sheets are at the laundry. The fitted sheet is a perfect fit for my cal king (12 and a half inches). The loose sheet leaves a lot of excess for tucking and a comfortable fit. The pillows are the only fit problem as they are rather loose on a standard well-stuffed king-sized pillow. As you can see in the pictures, even on my denser, firm pillow, it's a little loose and doesn't look as smart as I'd like. These sheets are easy to clean, very pretty and all round great. I own two more sets of these in queen for the guest bed. I will definitely purchase these again for all guest beds (including a daybed I have), the quality and price just can't be beat!

I purchased this set in queen size back in 2014 and more than 2 years later I had to come back and write a review because of all the negative reviews it has received since then. It makes me wonder if the manufacturer makes 2 different kinds of this particular set because what I got is nothing like what those negative reviews describe. These sheets are soft, flowy, and silk to touch. They're not 100% wrinkle free (what fabric is?) but they do resist wrinkling, and the wrinkles are minimal even if I leave them in the dryer for days. These sheets have taken a lot of abuse from me ever since I've owned them. We have moved twice (2 different states) since I received these sheets, and I used the fitted sheet to cover our mattress to protect it from getting dirty during each big move so it has been dragged on floors. It has also been smeared with lipstick when I do make up on the bed and peed on by my toddler who sleeps with me when he was potty-training. The care instruction says not to bleach but I've bleached them a few times and washed them in heavy-soil cycle. 2 years later without TLC, these sheets are still almost the same quality as when I first got them. Still soft and no tears. They have thinned a bit which is normal when you wash your sheets at least once a week. I've recently upgraded to a King size mattress and bought a set of sheets twice as expensive as this set because I wanted to try Egyptian cotton sheets. As soon as I opened the new more expensive Egyptian cotton sheets, I knew they were going back. They are stiff and scratchy after the first wash, so after I submit this review I'm returning them and will buy Clara Clark sheets again in exchange. These are not the best quality sheets in the market, but if you're looking for soft, flowy, silky affordable sheets, these are the best for your money and deserve a try.

These are the only brand of sheets I buy!! The color is true to the picture and description. They are the softest sheets you could imagine and great quality. They have deep pockets with elastic all the way around the fitted sheet and they don't slip off bc of those facts. I've had a few sets for more than 3 years and they haven't "peeled" and don't wrinkle easily. They feel like expensive hotel sheets that cost hundreds of dollars, I've had guests who slept over say the same thing too. I've gotten compliments about them many times and ppl are always shocked by the price tag of them and go buy them themselves bc of it. I'll continue to purchase only this brand of sheets in the future.
